My self-summary
I do everything I can, why would I say no? I am scared of heights, but really want to sky dive and I also rock climb. I care too much at times, but I know no other way to live. Either I commit and give whatever I do 100% or why try? This is the same regardless if it's dancing, a relationship, or playing a game.
What I’m doing with my life
5 weeks for my bachelors in computer science. Just a little more push to finish the work and then I'm free from it all. Finding something I enjoy that allows me to have a family I can also be with. Finding the right person to let into that life.
I’m really good at
Being really good at something is very subjective. Every time I think I'm good at something, I move up a level and realize how bad I truly am. I'm a decent swimmer, and can hold my own in ping pong/pool. I do well with cooking most of the time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am smart. The way I talk and present myself I've yet to see anyone's first impression not be about my brains. I can wish all I want to be less smart at times, but there's no off switch.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Wheel of Time series, reading The Mortal Instruments currently. Book of Mormon and Bible obviously. Anything with Shirley Temple, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly, The Nicholas Brothers, and all those others from vaudeville is a good movie to watch. I love the idea of southern food, though still have yet to try gumbo. Sublime (My classical self is trying to get over the feeling that The Ramones are sloppy on their timings), The Eagles, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Bach, Tchaikovsky, PDQ Bach, Tracy Lawrence, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, George Strait. There's so many great artists out there, as long as they have a good beat, and aren't screaming, pretending it's music I'll probably enjoy it.
The six things I could never do without
Smiles
People
Family
God
Razor (a beard is way too itchy)
Good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
People watching is honestly a lot of fun, wondering why they do what they do or who they are, trying to read body language.
Other than that I think about life, how to be happy and how best to support those in my life I care about.
On a typical Friday night I am
Not building my mother's website. A very big struggle for the understanding of what's needed for a site. I may start building my own private site.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have never broken up with a girl. And the first, the rain seemed like tears from heaven crying for me.
You should message me if
Dancing down the sidewalk is going to happen with or without you, I prefer it's with. If you're up for actually meeting someone like this and want to go to dance classes and will sing with me with no music playing.
