My self-summary
At first glance, I would just probably be seen as the quiet, asocial type that doesn't open up to much of anyone. Just how true this description is depends on how well you get to know me.

According to quite a few people, I am a rather intelligent and witty person—if you want my opinion, I have flashes of brilliance here and there, but I'm not anywhere near the level that some deem me to be. I'm stubborn enough not to back down when I believe that I'm right, but humble enough to admit that I far from know all the answers, and is willing to admit when he is wrong. I'm a creative, but somewhat unmotivated dreamer, who is searching for that spark that will take him to the next level. I don't care about everything that surrounds me, but that which I do, I do so with an intense, deep passion.

And that's just a short description, and paraphrased from the thoughts of one person at that. There are many other aspects to myself aside from the ones listed above; as for what they are... well, I suppose you would have to find out for yourself, wouldn't you?
What I’m doing with my life
I work a steady job—it's nice satisfactory adequate and pays the bills, but it's nothing that I want to do for the rest of my life. I'm also trying to hone my skills as a writer—which also includes getting back in the habit of actually writing. I don't know whether or not I'll try to make it a full-fledged career even if I do get back into the swing of things, but it's fun brainstorming and gathering inspiration from whatever I come across nonetheless.
I’m really good at
Being incredulously honest.
Giving advice, apparently.
The first things people usually notice about me
The height immediately stands out, because I have the tendency to tower over most everyone that I meet.

I also don't tend to talk much, unless it's with someone that I really click with. That tends to garner quite a bit of attention as well—if I'm sitting down.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm not an avid reader, but thanks to the magic of audio books, I am slowly working on changing this. I'm moving at a snail's pace, but hey, it's better than standing still.

Likes: Codex Alera; The Dresden Files; The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy; Scott Pilgrim; Snow Crash; Watchmen.

I largely dabble when it comes to music. I'm willing to give anything a shot if I haven't heard it before, but I tend to be drawn towards metal and electronica. I also enjoy hip-hop, but I'm very selective on what to listen to from there, as I'm not a fan of most of the lyrics that I've heard and read.

There are only a handful of artists that I would consider myself really into. Some of those bands include: Gojira; Machine Supremacy; The Protomen; Demetori; Nightwish, and Caravan Palace.

I'm a fan of fiction in general, so I'm willing to give nearly anything a shot, no matter the genre. It doesn't matter if it's live action or animated, a movie or a long-running series, or from the U.S. or Japan; as long as there's something about it that piques my interest, then chances are I will be down for watching it.

Movies: 12 Angry Men; Angels with Dirty Faces; Chronicle; Batman: Mask of the Phantasm; Clerks; Dogma; Dr. Strangelove; Dredd; Fear of a Black Hat; The Fox and the Hound; The Girl Who Traveled Through Time; The Iron Giant; Kung Fu Hustle; Menace II Society; The Princess Bride; Scott Pilgrim vs. the World; Thank You For Smoking; Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Animated series: Beast Wars; Gargoyles; Kara no Kyoukai; Monster; The Powerpuff Girls; Puella Magi Madoka Magica; The Spectacular Spider-Man; Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Live action: The IT Crowd; Jekyll; Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon; Titus

I enjoy several different types of food, and I'm open to tasting more, but it's not important enough to me to warrant gushing about it.
Six things I could never do without
Hereafter referred to as "the six things I would prefer not to do without."

#1. Sight.
#2. Sense of self.
#3. Moments of solitude.
#4. The ability to walk.
#5. Music.
#6. Something to stave off boredom.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the universe, and everything.

How society has progressed throughout the years.

Hypothetical situations, and how they could have possibly impacted those involved.

The fictional world I've created in my mind, and the stories there within.

Humanity: their history, motivations, actions, and what can change the nature of a man.
On a typical Friday night I am
I tend to chill at home more often than not. I'm not opposed to hanging out, but I'm more of a homebody than I am social.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I actually have a semi-respectable singing voice—that is, I only sound like nails on a chalkboard about a fourth of the time. Most people don't know this because I don't sing (seriously) around people, even my acquaintances.
