I love always absorbing new information. I avidly enjoy listening to history podcasts, going down the Wikipedia rabbit hole, and watching random documentaries to learn as much about as many things as possible. I play a lot of history-based games like Civilization and Europa Universalis and love using them as a jumping-point for learning more. So basically if you're on here not for dating but just to find a pub trivia partner, I'm your man.
I love discovering new films (Netflix and Doug Loves Movies were made for me) and new music (college radio alum!), playing instruments, and tabletop boardgaming. I'm pretty into sports and every Kennedy ever.
Movies: When Netflixin', I usually search for "quirky" or "Sam Rockwell." Wes Anderson, Duncan Jones, Woody Allen, Michel Gondy, Terry Gilliam, Sam Raimi.
Television: Hannibal, Agents of SHIELD, Futurama, Boston Legal, Twin Peaks, Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Doctor Who, The Amazing Race, The West Wing, Mythbusters, Downtown Abbey Brown, random history things
Music: David Bowie, Weezer, Talking Heads, Oingo Boingo, The Smiths, Radiohead, Nirvana, Muse, Beck, Rilo Kiley. I'm really into alt rock and New Wave.
I usually listen to music as album. The album I keep playing on repeat lately is Diane Coffee's Everybody's a Good Dog.
