My self-summary
Like for many, this is the difficult part as I really don't know what to say. Let's see...I love my daughter. She's the light of my life. I'm really hopeing to meet someone that I can have an amazing conversation with and developes into something more. I love making people laugh and am constantly telling one liners and being silly. My daughter calls me her silly and dependable daddy. I love that.

I have been focusing on getting back into shape and eating better these days so I'm in the gym a lot and also very careful about when and what I eat. I like thinknig about the science behind the lifts I'm doing, which muscles are being worked, and how to more efficently exercise. Am I a gym nerd?
What I’m doing with my life
These days I'm focused on getting back into shape and eating healthier.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at being a father, cooking, conversation, and making jokes about anything and everything.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first things people usually notice about me are my height, my deep voice, and my sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I used to have a long list of books, movies, etc. But I think keeping this higher level may be better.

I love to read and I'm always in the middle of four or five books at any point. I don't have problems finishing books. My issue is I get too excited about a new book and start one before I finish the last one. I currently reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.

When it comes to movies I like all the standards (Godfather, Star Wars, etc.) and have no problems watching Rom-Coms. I love watching documentaries and recently have been watching The History of Maths on Netflix. I prefer watching movies at home as I get annoyed that movie theaters don't have pause buttons and allow my fellow movie goers to remain ungagged.

I don't keep up with too many TV shows religiously. I cut the cable cord about a year ago so I'm usually behind on things. I like shows like Rick and Morty, Bob's Burgers, Archer, and South Park. Just dawned on me that those are all cartoons. I assure you I am, in fact, a grown man. I have a mortgage, dammit. That's very grown.

My musical tastes are all over the map but mostly center around heavy metal with an emphasis on the progressive metal sub-genre. I also listen to soul, Motown, and some southern rock. I avoid pop and country as if I were to contract some flesh eating disease were I to listen to the likes of Katy Perry or whomever is big in country right now. I am blissfully ignorant.

I love food and I'm the kind of guy that will eat something and then ask what it was. Exploring new restaurants is always a lot of fun. I love to cook for friends and family.
The six things I could never do without
Thundestorms in the afternoon
My daughter's admiration
A job I love with good people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Day to day I think about my daughter and what kind of person she's going to be when she's a teenager. I also like to think about how infinity exists between two finite numbers and if there are any practicle applications of that concept in the real world. That is, if the space between two objects can be divided infinitely smaller and smaller, then doesn't that mean that any two objects are infinitely far apart? And how this is realted to the fact that I always find myself cursing in the parking lot of a closed HEB on Easter Sunday.
On a typical Friday night I am
I usually stay in on Friday nights and relax. I'm not really a night owl.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I had an awesome mullet in high school and played drums in a speed metal band.
You should message me if've read my profile and feel that we would be a good match.
