My self-summary
So yeah, I have travelled so many countries, enjoy only hip deeply ecclectic music and art, my body is a temple... Blablabla, could have copied that from dozens of profiles.
Can I skip to the real life part now?

A little introversion is a good thing on the web ;) No really, I mean it. Telling everything about oneself in a thousand characters takes away so much of the adventure of getting to know each other that I'd rather keep it short. I am no big friend of facebook et al either but my phone has all the numbers that are truly important at the moment. Well, one really important contact is still missing.
What I’m doing with my life
Product marketing sounds fucking boring and it sometimes truly is. I try to keep it down to earth, stay away from hot air bubbles and not wear a suit and tie whenever possible. But most of the time it is ok and I also get my hands on some very cool stuff to borrow. This being said, I am looking forward to a new step in my carreer.

Things that are far more fulfilling include (among many others) the following:
my family and friends
my guitar
home improvement
rc modeling
tinkering with electronics
I’m really good at
analyzing, questioning, daydreaming
cooking from random supplies
mild procrastination
parking level Cologne (lvl80 right?) mastered

I find myself getting better in keeping plants in my home alive, must be a foreshadow of wanting to settle down. Even parsil and basil have made it for a year now!
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my sarcastic sense of humor. You have been warned. The Oxford comma.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Playlists usually range somewhere between J.S. Bach, Tool, Nightmares on Wax, In Flames, Zaz, Qotsa, Thelonious Monk, Adele, Trivium, and Slayer. A little bit of everything though I do get annoyed by a lot of poser hip hop and monotonous house stuff. Just rediscovered Billy Talent and tons of old punk rock stuff... aawwww goooood ol' times...

Tommy Jaud's Hummeldumm (last book I read and recommended) is pretty funny. Then again there is the Hitchhiker's Guide, lots of thrillers like Daniel Suarez' Daemon series, recipes, software manuals, and semi-conductor datasheets...

You will also find a ton of magazines scattered everywhere in my apartment, courtesy of my employer.

Some Hollywood mainstream stuff is ok to watch but most movies and TV shows I enjoy are the ones that will be canceled after a few weeks (or did not even make it to German cinemas). Just to name few: Snatch; Lock, Stock and two smoking Barrels; There will be blood; Låt den rätte komma in; Lucky Number Slevin; Office Space; Religulous; Layer Cake; Idiocracy; Up in the Air; Zack&Miri make a porno... the list goes on.

As for TV, I proudly pay for ARTE, 3SAT, and all other public TV channels that have actual content for the mind.
Shows? Breaking Bad, Family Guy, and Dexter made it for quite some time. Please don't throw me into an advanced Game of Thrones marathon when I haven't even seen SE1E1!
I just got hooked on The Walking Dead, thanks to Amazon Prime marketing. Gotta learn something from those guys.

Also there is no quarrel between Star Wars and Star Trek! Except Kirk, he should have had a red shirt.
The six things I could never do without
If you are a human being, family&friends are not things. So...
knife (sharp),
lighter (full),
phone (charged),
internet connection (working),
(sun) glasses,
towel :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
if I should move to Düsseldorf. Any suggestions why, where or why not? Why not Berlin or Hamburg or Helsinki?
On a typical Friday night I am
cooking a nice treat for friends or just for me, watching movies, relaxing, enjoying bars and clubs, sometimes running... the usual. I am not a person that needs to party all week(end) anymore, that already prolonged my college time quite a bit. Saturday is better to rock the city.

A night out in the woods? I'm in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Let's find out over a glass of wine!
You should message me if
You feel like it! Or you plan to cycle through France, teach me how to sail or would enjoy coffee/beer/tea/wine together in the not too distant future.
