My self-summary
The name is Rachael. If you message me and spell it wrong, I most likely won't give you a response. I'm pretty laid-back, unless I'm having an anxiety attack. I love to read, and read, and get lost in book stores. I also seem to spend a good portion of money in book stores....maybe the two things are related? I've had one, and only one car since I was 17, my trusty Jeep. It has its quirks, but I love my Wrangler. I'm left-handed. My birthday is a National holiday that no one recognizes, except maybe the Army. I love my two dogs Ozzy and Harley and my cat Talia(who now lives with my parents). If you get their name references on the first try, you'll be awarded a gold star! My two favorite animals are Hippos and Sloths. I know I'm weird, what of it? I spend a lot of time with my close friends and family. I can be pretty feminine at times, examples being mani/pedis, shopping and my affinity for shoes. Don't get me wrong though. I will still spend a Saturday in my yoga pants, eating chips and dip, while yelling at the TV over the missed call or interception. I'm a Tennessee Vols fan in Alabama. Yeah, I know. Don't judge me.
What I’m doing with my life
Back in college finishing my degree in Bio/Psych. I could be a Stay-at-Home something or other. Too bad it doesn't pay well. Or at all.

Sleeping/Hibernating. I medaled in '96.
I’m really good at
Random trivia, over-analyzing situations, being empathetic. I'm a great listener. I can also be quite loquacious. I have way too much pop culture knowledge in my noggin to the point where it is borderline creepy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I talk. A lot.
I can be kinda loud sometimes.
My eyes or lips.
The junk in my trunk.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A Song of Ice and Fire Series
Douglas Adams
Jane Austen
Ready Player One
The Martian
Harry Potter
Almost anything really. Except Charles Dickens. I loathe Dickens....unless its retold by The Muppets. Then it's ok.

Dirty Dancing
Comic Book Movies
The Departed
Die Hard
The Great Gatsby
ALL THE MOVIES minus Restrepo. Worst movie to watch on Christmas. EVER.

Gilmore Girls
Hart of Dixie
Bobs burgers
Game of Thrones
Big Bang Theory
Dr. Who
Peep Show
New Girl
IT Crowd
I cannot list them all. That would be tedious....I really wish we got BBC channels here in the US. The shows across the pond are quite witty.

I went to Bonnaroo in 2014 and fell in love with it. Planning on making it an annual thing as often as I can from here on out.
Bon Jovi
Lady Gaga
Maroon 5
Foo Fighters
Imagine Dragons
Bruno Mars
Daft Punk
Taylor Swift
Alabama Shakes
The Weeknd
Jenny Lewis

I'd probably be a Pescatarian if bacon did not exist.
The six things I could never do without
My Dogs and Cat
A Towel

If you have to ask why a towel, we can't be friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why the other side of the pillow is cool, why people watch Fox news and take it seriously, when is STA going to brew more Velvet Evil, what my dogs are thinking.....the usual.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my friends or cuddling up with my dogs watching tv or reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ask me. I'm pretty open about everything.
You should message me if
Your opinion of me is that I'm weird. Or cute. Maybe some combination of the two? If you want to hook up or think I'm a hottie.....don't be surprised if I don't acknowledge you with more than an eye roll.
