My self-summary
I fall into the category of quiet-type, introverted, INTJ, intuitive, etc. For me this means I like the company of others very much but really need solitude. I take time to process whatever is going on. I have an orientation toward spiritual stuff like meditation, yoga, body work. I started swimming a year ago and since then have been taking lessons every week. I recently picked up running again and will do a couple of 5K races this fall.

I was a wayward youth! Totally clueless about what I wanted to do when I was in college and so I dropped out for 7 years, left my home in Michigan and moved to NYC where I worked a number of odd jobs including one in the asbestos industry - totally random (!), assistant to a ceramic artist, a book shop in Williamsburg, baby sitting, and a writing tutor at hunter college. I've spent time working with kid in a Montessori school, I have a 200 RYT Yoga Certificate, and I'm a licensed massage therapist. But, I don't teach yoga and I don't practice massage therapy either but in both cases I'm really glad I did the trainings and will probably do more in the future. Now I'm streamlined into the non-profit world for last 10 years. Fun, crazy, good people, lots of work and I like it for the most part.

I'm a home body. I have a lot of plants. I like to cook, watch movies, listen to music, read, listen to radio shows and watch what's happening in my mind. I like to go out, too - dance performances, films, good food and wine, theater and NYC parks - I love. The MET is one of my favorite places. Love to see art and live music. Constantly grateful to be living in NYC. Life is amazing here.
What I’m doing with my life
Said it above :-)
I’m really good at
I don't know exactly. The things I'm good at come easily so they seem natural. I've got pretty keen observational skills. I'm good at taking people in. It seems like I'm good at keeping things in order...hmmm, kind of. I'm good with the plants. I can fry eggs really well. I'm actually really good in a crisis for some reason - not that I've been in a lot of them, but when things get super intense I get really calm and this seems like an asset.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have the posture of a dancer.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Should I stay or should I go?
On a typical Friday night I am
Well, I'm low key - so sometimes I'm out but lots of times I go for a swim or lately a run, and then come home and eat a little and peace out with a film, rest. I don't need a lot to be happening all the time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Water works in sad movies.
You should message me if
If meeting a new person seems fun and interesting. If you're chill about dating and not so high bent on making something happen. If you're kind hearted and open minded and really silly and fun. If you smile a lot and are affectionate.
