My self-summary
Midwest born, PNW attuned.
Overuse the word 'funky'.
Dad puns galore.
Whiskey bent.
Coffee addict by day, night owl by night.
Geek at heart.

I'm full of wanderlust and have to travel regularly.
My idea of romance is packing your bags and together throwing yourselves at a place you've not yet been.

Music keeps me sane and is something I want to be able to share.

I like to change it up, and appreciate someone as laid back as they are adventurous. I could spend the weekend on the couch marathoning a favorite show/game, with a book and dirty chai, outdoors exploring with a hike or bike ride, or at the bar for conversation/live music and a drink.
What I’m doing with my life
Finally (2.5 years ago) followed the draw to the PNW that has been with me for years. I currently work in marketing, but am hoping to flee my first career path in the pursuit of something I am far more passionate about, design.

Looking for someone to share in an adventure. Mostly wanting to put myself out there to make new friends, to meet people I can get out to enjoy life with. I'm at the point where I believe a relationship isn't something you base on a shared desire not to be alone, but that should fall into place only once you're able to stand each other after a round of board games or 6+ hours in the car.
I’m really good at
Trying new wine, crafty beer, and local food.
Spacing out on the word for those things or the name of that person who was in that movie.
Late night workouts.
Picking up new languages, then forgetting where I put them.
Dressing myself.
Eating all the bacon.
Driving 24 hours straight.
The first things people usually notice about me
Dat ass... I don't know, eyes maybe.
I get "are you a ginger?" a lot. Even I'm starting to question it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These may help set matches, but they are good talking points and more fun to discover through conversation. That's the point of this whole thing, right? But to give you an idea...
Ken Follett (and of course Harry Potter)
Guy Ritchie (and of course LOTR)
Eureka/Firefly
I'm very eclectic with music. Theme song to my life... https://youtu.be/hQjwkXrcUrs
I eat ketogenic, so very little carbs outside of a cheat day, or brunch, or when gorging on too much sushi.
The six things I could never do without
Skipping the obvious of friends, family, beer and wine? ...caffeine, the right playlist for every situation, somewhere new to see, nature, acumen, and more caffeine. Probably my PC and Steam account as well if I'm being honest.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Design. A life goal of mine is to build the dream house I have been laying out in my head forever.

Sonder... society in general. Where's the empathy?!

Travel. There's a lot to explore and I want to see it all, bottle of wine in hand!
On a typical Friday night I am
Home staying cozy watching movies, out with friends for a drink and live music to unwind, or more often than not taking advantage of how empty the gym is.
You'll never catch me following sports on TV, but I do love to make it to local games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've ranked top 10 in Disney trivia on QuizUp.
When the gym is empty, I do interpretive dance and lip sync to my music.
FL.
You should message me if
You're aware there is a whole wide world out there, and you want to explore it.
You want to split a bottle of wine or grab a beer, and can carry a conversation.
You're not adverse to sarcasm.
You want to sync cheat days and go to brunch. I like brunch.
You can sit through an entire movie without getting restless or distracted. (There are definitely exceptions here!)
You'll teach me yoga, or how to actually dance. Seriously.
You want to be the Lesley Knope to my Ben Wyatt.
