My self-summary
Multi-instrumentalist. Performing artist. Spiritual seeker. Educator. Friends with beings great and small, in this world and the next.
What I’m doing with my life
I perform, write, and teach music. Singing's my main thing but I've played piano since I was a kid and I'm not too shabby on the guitar. Learning new instruments and getting better at old ones is a passion of mine. I'm also a healing practitioner with a focus on bodywork and reiki.

I'm very happy to have landed in Brooklyn. At some point i will journey to South America to explore permaculture, regenerative design, and Spanish (among other things).

It is my hope that all of us earthlings find a harmony and I think it's time for humans to wake up and grow up.

I facilitate community-building, one hug, soup and song at a time.
I’m really good at
Reaching the top shelf. Helping people to realize their inner potential. Metaphor.
The first things people usually notice about me
My singin'. I would generally not brag like this, but I do get a lot of kind words. Impromptu melodies fill my days and nights. Visually- my John Lennon-ness, my eyes, and my jaunty stride.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(a)the continuum concept, magical child, instead of education, in defense of anarchy, dancing wu-li masters, dr. seuss, a wrinkle in time, science and the akashic field, the art of happiness, skinny legs and all, the alchemist, celestine prophecy, nature man and woman, the book, alan watts, douglas adams (b)waking life, mindwalk, hedwig and the angry inch, muppet movies, what the bleep do we know, waiting for guffman, being john malkovich, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, american beauty, documentaries (c) most music, sufjan stephens, mogwai, charles ives, medeski martin and wood, john adams, samuel barber, cesaria evora, the horseflies, beatles, the white stripes, orchestra baobab, willie nelson, sarah vaughn, the campbell brothers, nickel creek, donna the buffalo, tom petty, bjork, ...
The six things I could never do without
Well they've gotta be rather absolute necessities as I'd like not to pin my well-being to particularities. Oxygen seems rather important. Nutritive Sustenance. Community and family [somewhat synonymous for me]. Self-reflection. Music [sweet music]. and if I might have as many of my senses as possible that'd be great.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
music, theatre, permaculture, i-ching, philosophy, singing, reading, quantum physics, comparitive theology, mythology, yoga, revolution, meditation, kindness, hiking, nature, psychedelics, reiki, community, breaking down walls, the third eye, shamanism, healing...
On a typical Friday night I am
Keeping the forces of darkness at bay. (You're welcome.)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When people refer to me as "hippie" I am touched. [Different people mean different things when they use that word, semantics being what it is. I vibe with the definition: nature-loving, peace-seeding, free-thinker.]
You should message me if
you want feng-shui advice. You're in touch with your spiritual center. You appreciate animals and love your family. You're healthy and see the folly in factory farming and industrial agriculture. You want to meet a genuine lover of life with a lot of kooky ideas. I'd be happy to bump into a significant "other" on here but I'm also up for encountering new pals for the Super-friends network.
