My self-summary
right, so, the whole username thing is a reference to my favorite character in my favorite movie, rubin & ed, and is not a reference to my being a voluptuous woman.

i live about 45 minutes from the north side of the city by car or train and most of my friends live up there, so don't be afraid of the indianer thing– at least not for this reason... it's quicker to get here than rush hour from the 'burbs to the loop.

i'm originally from chicago's north suburbs, and the north side, and have also lived on the west coast, in california & washington state.

i moved to n.w. indiana about 15 years ago, with the idea that i would eventually move back to chicago or move elsewhere... i'm still here.
What I’m doing with my life
selling/shipping "stuff" on-line for the music store... i/we sell anything related to playing and listening to music, and movies, like cd's, vinyl, cassettes, guitar gear, dj equipment, dvd/vhs, music books, etc. i used to teach guitar at the store, and i am trying to get back into that somewhere.

i also do record searches, both for hard to find/out of print items and for any other music and such. i'm also interested in selling vinyl/etc. for people, as i'm good at it and love to help people with music stuff.

i had a band locally, but it is not currently in the works. i would love to meet new people to play music with, even just for kicks or something.
I’m really good at
watching/discussing movies.
listening & being attentive.
mano-a-mano situations.
enjoying/playing music.
eating delicious cereal.
skee ball & dominoes.
looking at my cats.
other fun stuff...
The first things people usually notice about me
on the surface... my eyes? you tell me...

otherwise, i've been told i seem to be an
attentive person... but then they realize
that i'm not. (just kidding about that...)

let me (not) ask some people about this.

Six things I could never do without
my people.
(i'm sure i can do better than this...)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the truly unfortunate paradox of opposite day.

how bacon is the most coveted of the salted, cured meats.

traveling to various places around the world, especially new zealand.

getting back into playing/performing live music, in whatever form.

coming up with better answers to things, like these questions...
On a typical Friday night I am
on my computer
playing my guitar
watching a movie
talking to someone
on my porch swing
at dinner w/ friends
sitting on the couch
at a show in the city
(or all of the above)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i have always been bad about shaving. it's not an intentional thing, almost always having some sort of beard. it's mainly because it grows really fast: if i shave in the morning, i'm zz top in the evening.
You should message me if
any of the above applies or appeals to you.

you'd like a new, good friend/companion...

or something more, without expectations.

you want to visit highland, in. sometime...
The two of us
