I teach art to a bunch of unruly (yet lovable) middle schoolers. I'm relatively new to education, but it is undoubtedly the most challenging and gratifying job I've held thus far. I love art and sharing the experience of making things with my students.
I'm pretty active and often training for a distance race (right now, my second NYC marathon). Most nights, I'm either taking a class at the gym or going for a run. As much as I love living in Brooklyn, I appreciate jaunts outside the city for hiking/skiing/beach trips/exploring.
