Im close to my family and a handful of friends. I believe in being thoughtful towards people and animals, and although not a vegetarian, the meat in my fridge has had a good life. I'm a good listener, polite and giving to the people in my life. I also believe in supporting my community by shopping at the local farmers' market and locally in general.
I'm looking for someone to share the journey with. I know that sounds like some kind of cheesy Jackson Browne lyric, but screw it. I'm not a poet. I don't need us to have everything in common, but I do think compatible interests are important.
Kindness / warmth, respect and communication are important to me in relationship. Those are the basics for me, and I think that everything else can be built off of those. Also - just in case you're either a white supremacist or ultra-orthadox Jewish: I'm Jewish by birth, but don't practice. And my family are the opposite of overbearing. They're pretty Bohemian. Well - literally anyway.
Long, drawn out conversations.

I am a big fan of Pixar animated movies, but also enjoy films based on historic events (The Queen, 13 Days). I like TIFF when I can manage to get out to it too.
TV: Current favourites: "House of Cards", "Community", "Brooklyn Nine-Nine, "Game of Thrones".
Music: Lots of stuff, but I don't find it really makes great conversation.
Food: I love pretty much anything that doesn't involve entrails or eyeballs but I do love Haggis. I think living in Toronto makes you into a bit of a foodie.
