My self-summary
I'm a lesson in contradictions. I'm a swimmer who is scared of fish. I'm a terrible speller who gets annoyed at the wrong use of "your" "its" and "their". I love to travel but would often rather sit at home with my dog than go out to the clubs (although Friday Happy Hour and Pub trivias are a must!). I'm a scientist but am organized. I hate the idea of dating websites and yet here I am. At least I'm self-aware. As far as I know.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm trying to figure out my true calling and getting closer. I have a job now that utilizes my compulsive organization and love of science. Too complicated to describe here. Other than that, I run. A lot. And I love to travel.
I’m really good at
Planning/organizing. Setting goals and following through. Hmm. That makes me seem really rigid, which I'm not always. I do things on a whim too (usually travel). I've been told I'm good and listening and offering practical and thoughtful advice.
The first things people usually notice about me
No idea. I've never bothered asking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I like lots of different kinds. On a plane, chick lit because it makes the time go by fast. Otherwise, pretty much anything. I've been reading a lot of nonfiction historical stuff recently.

Movies: In no particular order, Pineapple Express, Saving Private Ryan, Ocean's 11, Meet Me In St. Louis.

Food: Italian and Mexican are my favorites.
Six things I could never do without
A bottle of water within an arm's reach...I'm always thirsty!
Running shoes/clothes
A passport
Cream Savers
A comfy place to sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I try not to dwell to any one thing too much, but I find myself thinking a lot about current events and their impact.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my work (old or new) friends getting a few drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That's an impossible question to answer. It's like those professors who wanted you to write a paper on "anything". I'm not particularly private, so go ahead and ask away.
You should message me if
you want to, silly!
