My self-summary
I love films and music - from all around the world. Hypocrites and liars (and need I mention politicians?) get me angry. I'm not religious and zealots scare me and I like to get to grips with nature from time to time. Idols include John Lennon, Bill Hicks, Peter Sellers.

I am confident, understanding, and laidback
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a graduated film and Tv student, focussing on writing. In my job, I work for the NHS.
I’m really good at
I'm a decent writer, I think, and an increasingly competent cook. I enjoy singing - though I'm not a singer - and I like to talk about why we think things as well as what we think.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall. And my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Consider Phlebas and Use of Weapons by Iain M Banks. The Shining by Stephen King. Lord of the Flies by William Golding. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford by Ron Hansen. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer.

Movies: Heat, Toy Story 2, Raising Arizona, When Harry Met Sally, Lawn Dogs, The Incredibles, Master and Commander, In Bruges among others.

Music: Little bit of everything. Old faves would be Marvin Gaye, Radiohead, Elbow, Nat King Cole, Morrissey/The Smiths. Current listening would include Bon Iver, Vetiver, The Dears, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip.

Food: anything Asian, Italian, French (well, almost anything) and a big old sandwich. Oh, and chicken. I loves me chicken.
The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future and its endless possibilities. How the things we worry most about make no sense, so its best to try and leave them alone. The clues that bind everything. The cosmos. And sex.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either: In the pub with old friends, having a couple of drinks.

Or: Watching a great film or something seriously funny.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can get very emotional, especially if someone is out to destroy or harm me in same way. This normally results in silence.
You should message me if
You like films and music too and are not as thick as two short planks.
