My self-summary
Well there are many things to say, but I'll just give you some bullet points.

I'm from Austin, but have lived in some pretty fantastic places. NYC and San Francisco have been the most recent. Love those cities, but Austin is better :)

There are a lot of things that are very near and dear to my heart: Theatre, wine, dance, music, cheese...Just to name a few.

I'm very goofy and very sarcastic all at the same time. There are only a few things that I get very serious about (and I may let you find out what those are).

I love intellectually stimulating conversations over good wine or great beer or yummy whiskey.

I love playing games (board, not mind) and also getting gussied up and going to experience fantastic urban life.

I love to be outside in the sun but just so you know: I'm outdoorsy in the way that I like getting drunk on patios.
What I’m doing with my life
I manage a nice restaurant so I have to put in a disclaimer that my hours are not of the norm. I'm also an actress who has a tendency to do a lot of Shakespeare.
I’m really good at
Diffusing awkward situations. Making people giggle. Turning a boring night into something legendary.
Then there is:
Acting, trivia, board games, preparing for the zombie apocalypse, poker, obscure wine descriptions, getting out of sticky situations...
The first things people usually notice about me
my eyes are up here, fellas
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have a really hard time picking favorites.

My favorite book is my 1922 copy of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare. My favorite Shakespeare play is Titus Andronicus which is, unfortunately, not produced very much (it's rather violent).

MOVIES: I have a "small" obsession with horror movies...One of my favorite pastimes is hanging out watching terrible slasher movies while playing the game "guess who dies next".
Other good movies that I love: Life is Beautiful, Some Like it Hot, Grindhouse (both Planet Terror and Death Proof), The Swimming Pool, Serenity.

MUSIC: I'm an Austinite so of course I love many local bands here and I love discovering new and interesting music. The White Ghost Shivers are my favorite locals. But I am one of those people who listen to most everything. I'm not "musically cool". I listen to some nerdy things.

FOOD: I have worked in restaurants my entire adult life. I have been groomed to be a food-ie. I will try anything and love being surprised. But when in doubt, wine and cheese.

TV: Cutrently: The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Veep, Parks and Rec
TV that I'll go back and watch over and over: LOST, Firefly, Freaks and Geeks
The six things I could never do without
That's a loaded question.

1. My fantastical group of friends and family
2. Theatre
3. Wine
4. Laughter
5. A sense of adventure
6. Personal independence
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What sort of mischief can I get myself into today.
But mostly "where are my keys???"
On a typical Friday night I am
Dressed up and getting myself into absurd yet fantastically epic adventures.
Or most likely: working
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I break into show tunes when I get really drunk.
You should message me if
You are awesome and good at witty banter.
Have a desire to have fun but still have a sense of maturity.

Sub section: You should NOT message me if:
*You have a shirtless selfie and/or gym selfie (because I have already judged you)
*In your "about me" section you write that you are down to earth and laid back (everyone says that and I will not read on because I just got bored)
*You think this is a hook-up online store. (It's creepy, shut it down)
