I am not your typical man. I live every day of my life to the fulllest. I try to have balance in my life. Balance of work that I enjoy, & teaching, performing, & social dancing salsa. I will dance almost anywhere.
I am semi retired for 5 years, because I enjoy being that way.
I have Jet Skiis & an ocean kayak, & love playing in the water.
I am a very unique person & live my life differently from most people. I do enjoy some of the finer things In life, & have learned that some of the most interesting & fun things you can do in your life are not about money.
I was born Jewish, & like to celebrate the Jewish holidays with family. I like a lot of the Buddha philosophy but I am not a Buddhist.
I am a MacGyver. If you've never watched that TV series then you probably are too young for me. LOL. I fix & modify a lot of things.
I have been a member of the National Ski Patrol for over 30 years & still am. It is a volunteer rescue organization involving advanced first aid & snow rescues. With that knowledge, I have been able to perform & assist in many rescues in my every day life.
I am building a dance studio to teach Salsa, Bachata, & Cha-Cha & have socials. Right now I teach privately at a different studio.
I read a lot, & rarely watch TV.
Integrity & honesty are very important to me.
I had back surgery 2 months ago, and am pain free for the first time in 45 years.
Like everything else in life, it's unlikely that I'm going to find a perfect match. But I may find one that has a lot of the qualities I am looking for. It might be easier for me to list them in order of importance. I don't expect anyone to have all of these qualities.
1- Honest trust integrity
2- Be who you are
3- Be as positive as you can.
4- Understand that money does not buy happiness, it only buys security and open some doors.
5-You understand that things don't always go perfect, and I will always do the best I can, but sometimes things don't work out as expected. If this happens, have trust and faith in me to do the right thing, and not become part of the problem.
It would be nice if you were an intermediate level salsa dancer or have some type of dance experience. Since I spend so much time in the Salsa world, it would be nice if you were part of it. Practicing some really cool moves to do on the dance floor. Being my partner while I'm teaching a class.
If you are not a salsa dancer, but think that you can make it work with the other things that you have read, I am open for that.
This is my ideal date.
When we are done, both of us will know if we want to advance the relationship to a higher level.
Drive to the beach, listening to loud, really good rock 'n' roll, Salsa or Bachata music. Have a nice breakfast or seafood lunch outdoors by the ocean. Sitting next to you instead of across from you so I can hold your hand, or put my arm around you.
Unload the bicycles and ride along the coast for five or 10 miles.
Eat more food.
Unload my two-person ocean kayak from the roof and set it all up. Launch the kayak. Trust in me that because of my experience and knowledge ocean kayaking that I will pick the best path and keep us safe. Stay on the water and watch the sunset.Break and shake 2 glow sticks and hang them around our neck so other boats can see us while we are paddling back to the car.
Drive back to my place while talking about how amazing the day was and all the cool things we saw.
Put on some good tunes and jump in my Jacuzzi.
This is my ideal date. What happens after that point, will depend on where we are in the relationship.
I try to eat healthy, usually Salads, but I do like a good steak. Since I am so active, I can pretty much eat whatever I want, & not gain weight.
About once a month, I have a movie day, where I go to 3 or 4 movies in a row.
Also about once I month I try to go to a play, or concert. One that would interest my partner & I.
A good cup of coffee in the morning
Redesigning something that I use, to make it work more practically.
I can't see if you like me or not, so say so in a message if you do, and if it's mutual I will message you back.
