My self-summary
Not to go off on a tangent here but I often see people write that they are "easy going" in this section of their profile, just once I want someone to say something like..."I'm extremely difficult and resentful, I often hold grudges and have a sincerely irrational fear of change"

I'm usually the loudest person in the room, often the one making inappropriate jokes to strangers to see if they're cool.

A nice plate of pasta, a proper glass of whiskey and some good conversation. These are a few of my favorite things.

Bill Hicks, Neil Gaiman, John Waters, Garth Ennis, Dan Simmons. If any of these names mean something to you we probably have a few things to talk about.

I enjoy a night out eating, drinking and carousing just as much as a quiet one spent at home watching crappy tv. Everyone writes this?!!

I'm a Big Phish fan, (striving to be consistent ) yoga practitioner, who loves to boogie. I enjoy a good hike (especially with a break to smoke a bowl in the middle) or trip to the museum. I recently discovered the wonder that is the Rubin downtown.
What I’m doing with my life
Im a lighting director working predominately in television, I work on a morning finance show so I keep really odd hours.
I’m really good at
Listening, rolling joints, dancing my butt off at concerts.
The first things people usually notice about me
i'm tall 6'4" and can be quite boisterous at times
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big movie buff, Kurosawa, Kazan, Peckinpaw, Kubrick and Wes Anderson, Hitchcock, Coppola are a few favorites that come to mind. Cool Hand Luke would easily be my desert island film.
I have a theory concerning the movie The Princess Bride, if you were born post 1975 and you don't have a deep appreciation for said film you are not to be trusted!

Love to read, mostly sci-fi, fantasy and non-fiction. Last book I finished was Ocean at the End of the Lane. Favorites include Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Dark Tower Series, The Hyperion Cantos, Dune and any thing Neil Gaiman ever wrote.

Phish, Tool, Sam Cooke, Sigur Ros, Nina Simone, Carol King, Billy Joel, The Band, Air, The Beta Band, Stereolab, Astrud Gilberto, Murs, The Beatles, The Talking Heads, The Velvet Underground, Nick Drake... I could go on.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what if "all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves"

What is Deja Vu for?

What is it like, when doves cry?
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends drinking, eating and being debaucherous or sitting on my couch enjoying a nice glass of whiskey and a book, magazine (im addicted to New York, just cant get enough of the approval matrix) or movie also a fairly high possibility I'll be at a concert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a Downton Abbey junkie...I love me some of that turn of the century British melodrama! (Update) I don't care the show is over I'll keep rewatching old episodes!
You should message me if
You got this far so why not message me...unless you don't like the Princess Bride then I've got my eye on you 😒
