My self-summary
I am a multi discipline athlete, board game geek, occasional dinner host/ cook, and a computer nerd. I have made Seattle home after 3 years and I am loving it.
What I’m doing with my life
Working as a software developer.

Rowing 3 days a week plus occasional races. Love the sport and the team, early mornings still suck...

Cooking for/ hosting evenings with friends. Some times just hanging out, other times with board games.

I commute to work by bike frequently and I try to get out and ride for fun/ exercise when I have the chance. I would love to find a good group ride that matched my speed and endurance levels.

Rock climbing a bit when I can find a free belay partner or when I can make it out to the meetups.

Learned to ski two winters ago, but took the last one off. I have friends who really got into snowboarding this year so I expect I will be back in the mountains next winter.

Currently still looking for some people to go table top gaming with. I have not found a solid group here in Seattle.
I’m really good at
Cooking is something of a hobby of mine. I love making cooking dinners for friends and family.

City biking, having ridden for 3 years in Chicago and now in Seattle I think I can get around fairly well. I still am not the best at the hills out here but I can get around without too much fear of the city's traffic.
The first things people usually notice about me
My bike/ bike gear. Biking is my main method of transport so I am almost always on it or carrying around my bike stuff.

-All cuisines are pretty damn awesome.
-I love to do french cooking myself.
-Scotch or Cider
Six things I could never do without
- My backpack. Whether carrying my laptop into work, or gear for climbing, I use it daily and while mundane its something I could not do without.

-Smart Phone, It is great for making sure I do not get too lost in the city.

-A well stocked kitchen. While this is multiple items I think this qualifies here. Cooking is a big deal for me as I get to create something tangible that I can share with others. I love trying to improve my cooking and trying new recipes.

-Bikes, for competition and commuting. I have been kinda lazy lately though and only commuting, not doing extra rides. I am in search of riding buddies.

-Computer, for work, games, and internet surfing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Computers/ programming, its my job so its often on my mind.

Bikes. Bicycling is my favorite hobby and is my main free time sink. It is my main method of transportation so it is a huge part of my life. I often follow bike advocacy news and some bike competition.

Local politics, I love Seattle and I want it to be inclusive and supportive for all people. I read about public transit and affordable housing a lot.

Food, I love to cook but have been busy. I really only cook a few dishes for myself though, I need to work on branching out. I am also always looking for new restaurants to try in Seattle. I love exploring neighborhoods and trying out what they have to offer.
On a typical Friday night I am
On my free nights I can be found playing board games, going climbing, getting drinks/ dinner with friends or staying in and playing some co-op games with my longer distance friends.
You should message me if
You want to take a bike ride somewhere, bonus points if its a super long ride.

Board games sounds like a fun date to you. I love table top gaming and I have yet to find a consistent group to play with.

If you need a belay/ climbing partner. I am interesting in getting more time in climbing and improving my abilities.

Exploring new restaurants/ bars if fun for you. I don't enjoy exploring restaurants solo as much as with someone else. There is so much more of Seattle I need to get out and enjoy.
