I am active, slim and very young for my age, both mentally and physically. I live and work in San Francisco, where I commute to work by bike. I have a love/hate relationship with The City and am definitely not set on staying here indefinitely. High on my list of enjoyments include food (foodie:)), red wine, travel, exploring new areas/cities, cooking for one, two or 8!, reading, NPR and BBC, friends, both new and old, my darling granddaughter, not yet two, movies, art openings, and any number of other fun activities.
What am hoping for? A kind and honest man who is truly looking for a LTR. Someone who is a bit cosmopolitan, yet down-to-earth, who enjoys food and wine, planning that next trip or just having a quiet evening at home alone or with friends. If he leans to the left politically and is not overly religious that will work best with me. A love for animals, specifically dogs (and cats) is a must (at least a tolerance ;)). Hopefully you have a sense of humor and aren't too awfully rigid in your routines. My dad is still going strong at 93, so I'm planning to have the best third of my life ahead of me. Want to join?
Favorite movies include Breakfast at Tiffany's, In the Heat of the Night, The Bjorn series, When Harry Met Sally, The Beginners, Marigold Hotel.
I like listening to NPR, esp. Wait, Wait, don't tell Me, This American Life. As for TV, Masterpiece Theater, The Good Wife, West Wing
Food?? So hard to describe as I love most of it, both cooking with and eating. Some non-negotiable favorites are olives, great cheeses, red wine, dark chocolate, nice strong latte in the morning (love my nespresso pixie).
I enjoy music but am not one to have it on 24/7. Like classical, vocal jazz, as well as Dylan, Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel.
Something to look forward to
Good food and wine
or TIRED and home relaxing with a good leftover and some wine
