My self-summary
New to NYC! Just moved here in September 2016.

I'm a huge film fan, especially obscure indie/foreign dramas and scifi films. (🚨HIPSTER ALERT 🚨) My favourite directors are probably Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Don Hertzfeldt, and Darren Aronofsky.

I'm also a big fan of reading books so I always have a book in progress on my Kindle. I'm current going through a huge Haruki Murakami kick, I just finished devouring Hard-Boiled Wonderland & The End of the World, followed by Kafka on the Shore. I took a quick break to read Ready Player One (it was *ok*), but now I'm back to Murakami with 1Q84. I also love creative writing in my free time, and really should start setting aside time to work on writing a story again.

I'm also an ENFJ, if the names Myers, Briggs, and Jung mean anything to you.
What I’m doing with my life
Working my career, burning all my energy at the gym, and having fun in the downtime!
I’m really good at
Switching lanes without hitting the cat-eye reflectors 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably that I'm a 6' giantess. Also, there's my red hair. Which one did you notice first?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: Like I said before, I love anything by Darren Aronofsky, Quentin Tarantino, and Stanley Kubrick. Requiem For A Dream is one of my favourite movies ever. I also love Primer, Star Wars, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Have you seen Sunshine? I love Danny Boyle's films.

Books: House Of Leaves, hands down. Also, the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, the Space Odyssey series, And a Song of Ice and Fire!! Dune. Anything by Murakami, it seems.

Shows: Arrested Development!
Also, Lost, Breaking Bad, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Sopranos, and SEINFELD. Curb Your Enthusiasm. Modern Family. I just caught up with Orange is the New Black, and now I'm kind of at a loss for what to watch. Recommend me something?

Music: My music loves make me sound like a walking contradiction. I love punk, ska, and grunge, but I'm always down for dubstep and pop. Some of my faves: Pearl Jam, 12th Planet, Queen, Lady Gaga, Pink Floyd, Alice In Chains, Ke$ha, Bad Religion, Nirvana, Skrillex, Muse, and last but not least, Streetlight Manifesto
The six things I could never do without
1. Coffee. Coffee is love. Coffee is life. I roast it and I brew it and I drink it and I love it. 😍☕️

2. The internet. When can I get an cable jack in my neck like in The Matrix?

3. Surprises. I really love surprises and adventures

4. Spicy food! Oh my god I love spicy food. I have to control myself SO much when cooking because my girlfriend can't take much heat, but I can go through a pound of thai chilis like it's nothing if I'm not careful.

5. My Pokemans.

6. The gym. Weight training and cardio all the way!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The important questions in life. Do I want siphon, espresso, pour-over, or french press coffee? Guatemalan or Ethiopian beans? Cream or black? (Jay kay, black Guatemalan all the way.)
On a typical Friday night I am
...driving out to the middle of Death Valley to stargaze, watching Netflix, or desperately trying to find a chill hangout bar in Vegas
You should message me if know that giraffes have blue tongues!
