My self-summary
Product of the late 80's/early 90's north Texas. Before it grew into the leviathan it is now. I was born in Denton and grew up in Sanger.

Parents married and divorced (from each other) twice. One older sister. I'm the youngest.

Former middle school band percussionist.
What I’m doing with my life
Being late to work.

Playing guitar. Wanting to do something musical and artistic.

Over feeding stray neighborhood cats.
I’m really good at
Staying up too late.

Misplacing my cup.

Screen printing t-shirts.

Making co-workers laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I dress in a grungey fashion. During the winter I usually hear comments about the excessive amount of flannel that I wear.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I used to read a lot. Now when I have the time. History, politics, biographies/memoirs. I frequent local library used book sales when I can.

I have stacks of books laying around that I'm in various stages of reading.

As far as movies and tv shows, I like a lot of weird, obscure now defunct shows. Why they were cancelled is beyond me.

In no particular order : *deep breath*

Six things I could never do without
gluten-free food
I spend a lot of time thinking about

How can I play that song on guitar.
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting home from work. The usual.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I miss working at Walmart. Granted, I only worked there for 4 months back in late 2010/early 2011, but it was endearing in some ways. It's so monolithic that you can get lost inside the machine. After I first started I spent weeks just doing returns. I worked in the garden center perpetually watering wilted plants and assembling bbq grills that rarely included instructions. Until one day I went on lunch break and never returned. To this day I still have not set foot back in that store. But I'm thinking about making a pilgrimage back one day.

Post script: I did return in Dec. I didn't find one person I knew. Who would have thought.
You should message me if
If you just want to hang out and talk about music, movies, books etc. Making new friends is cool too.

Note: I live outside of Denton but put Denton in my location because there is hardly anyone in my area.
