My self-summary
In case you were wondering, I’m going to marry Justin Trudeau. (Did you see him hugging those Syrian refugees?!) But fine, I will put up this OKC page just in case he gets hit by a bus or something.

Hello! I’m Josh. I grew up in Florida, went to grad school for policy analysis, and moved to DC to be a fed. I spend my days thinking and arguing about labor and retirement policy.

I spend most of my free time hanging out with friends; evenings and weekends are a satisfying blur of board games, bars, and brunches. My hobbies (such as they are) include travel hacking, trying to be a good guncle (my sister had twins 2 years ago), and the gym. Oh, and I just signed up for a class to learn how to code, because all the kids are doing it.

Being single is fine, but relationships are so fun. Especially the sassy ones. (What's the point of dating someone if you can't tease them constantly?)
What I’m doing with my life
Club Fed!
I’m really good at
Piecing together complex, hard-to-find award flights to faraway places
The first things people usually notice about me
Lately, my butt. #squats
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
If you like shows like game of thrones and battlestar galactica, then we will get along swimmingly.

Also, I decided to go retro this year and start buying paper books again. Currently reading Wool by Hugh Howey. So good! It's dystopian future sci fi.
The six things I could never do without
I don't think I can do without a dog, and yet I don't have one. It's terrible.

Other things: NPR, gym, good coffee, the New York Times, banana pudding, Apple products (I had them before they were cool)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Oh, I'm not sure my answer to this would be terribly flattering.
On a typical Friday night I am
Bear Happy Hour at Town! Or, falling asleep at like 9pm, because Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One time when I was little I pulled the fire alarm in a gigantic embassy suites and the whole hotel had to be evacuated.
You should message me if
If you want to! Also, if you are nice and can make me laugh.
