My self-summary
Adore a good argument, have no shame in sharing enthusiasm with others, and have a tendency to sing or quote movies at possibly inappropriate moments.

I am a big fan of learning, skepticism, any snuggly animal, sci-fi, and general geekery. If you are embarrassed by enthusiasm or annoyed by (hopefully) reasoned arguments, seek elsewhere.

Please note that I have a rescue macaw, and she is not very friendly(yet, I hope). Since she has another 30-50 years to her lifespan, it seems pertinent that anyone interested be aware that we are a package deal.
What I’m doing with my life
When I'm not working, sleeping, or at rehearsal, I am playing with my budget plans, walking my darling old lady of a dog, snuggling my bratface macaw, or practicing.

Sometimes stage manage for local theater productions, fun times!

I. Love. Podcasts. Listen at least 40 hours per week (commute, plus while at work), so it's a bit of an obsession -- mostly science, skepticism, politics, and TV show reviews

Definitely need to attend more performances that I don't play in, but they're less fun to attend solo. Plus... I'm cheap.
I’m really good at
* quoting movies, TV, and Mitch Hedberg
* spouting trivia
* laughing too loudly
* empathy
* Being blunt
* demonstrating "too much" forcefulness of opinion. Do please dissent, lively debates are good. The worst thing you can do is smile and nod when you think you have more/better information on a subject
*Remembering what I do not need to know.
The first things people usually notice about me
Chances are if I meet your eyes, I smile. I think it might be a tic at this point, because it's the same smile no matter what I'm thinking or feeling. A tic, meaning that I have mild Tourette's Syndrome. Sometimes I screech like a pterodactyl, when I'm startled I gasp in dramatic fashion, and occasionally I say, "what did I do? I'm sorry!" If someone looks at me the wrong way

I like green. A lot.

My hair is usually in a bun the size of a softball, and I'm what folks charitably call a "big girl."

The six things I could never do without
My animals
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Who do I waste so much time not learning new things?

How come I can't sing bass, alas. Are you a bass/baritone? We should talk. Or, rather, you should talk, I'll listen.
On a typical Friday night I am
Cleaning house, binge-watching, practicing, and altering a tiny phrase of this stupid profile, which, let's be honest... is irrelevant because most of you don't read these.
You should message me if
Any of the following activities sound appealing:
Board games
Nature Trails
Amusement parks

If anyone has ever been annoyed at how good your memory is, we could compare horror stories
