I love food and everything that goes with it - the cooking, the eating and the drinking! Nights cooking and eating in are fab, but I adore an evening at a good restaurant with amazing food that you'd never make at home. You've definitely got to treat yourself every now and again (and that also includes the occasional takeaway or trip to McDonald's!).
I have done a bit of scuba diving and like anything to do with the sea and quite wish I had studied marine biology at uni.. I've got two cats at home who I love (which I have told is acceptable whereas three would be encroaching on crazy-cat-lady territory).
I'm into tattoos and piercings, and have got a nautical themed full sleeve that was finished last year. Now working on filling up the other arm! If you've got an interest in tattoos or any of your own that's definitely a plus :)
I spend a lot of my time going out in London, but I only moved back down to Reading last year it would be great to get to know some more people to do things with locally and explore the local scene!
A few bands I love:
System of a Down, Deftones, Cypress Hill, The Ghost Inside, Every Time I Die, Korn, Limp Bizkit, While She Sleeps, The Devil Wears Prada, Devil Sold His Soul, Bastille, Comeback Kid, Enter Shikari, Leonard Cohen, Feed the Rhino, Heart in Hand, Incubus, M.I.A., Pantera, Slipknot, Steak Number Eight, VOD, Your Demise, RATM, Ewan MacColl, Dizzee Rascal, Professor Green... the list could go on!
Cheese, pie and pizza are probably my favourite foods in the world, but I love food in general so will eat pretty much anything!
Read a variety of book genres... getting to the end of the Game of Thrones series (so far) at the moment.
Birdsong - Sebastian Faulks, The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings, Clive Barker, A Thousand Splendid Suns / The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, Steven King, Dean Koontz, Joanne Harris, Bernard Cornwell, Harry Potter!... a whole lot more I can't think of now.
Horror is my favourite film genre, though I often end up disappointed in them. Always surprised to find I am actually a sucker for a Rom-Com when I do end up watching them!
Shows: Fawlty Towers, Monty Python, The IT Crowd, The Big Bang Theory, New Girl, Game of Thrones, Blackadder, Midsomer Murders, all the rubbish like The Only Way is Essex and Made in Chelsea (I KNOW they are awful but can't seem to help myself!), Man v. Food, New Tricks, Waking The Dead, Spooks, Luther, Green Wing
Wine or Beer
Also whether, if interviewed on Radio 4, I would try and squeeze in a hurried, reciprocated thank you at the end, or maintain a dignified silence...
