My self-summary
A committed relationship is the ultimate goal; right now I'd just like to meet interesting possibilities. I've realized that I want someone with whom to share the ups and downs of everyday life but I don't need to rush into it. The man I seek doesn't have to have his whole life figured out, but rather a guy who at least is working on discovering where he is going. It's great to put energy into your career, but it's a turnoff to meet someone who can only "fit you in" for an hour after work on a regular basis. I want a man interested in finding out who I am. My circle of friends is diverse and important to me. It would be nice for this man to have the desire to spend quality time with me, but also have the confidence to throw himself into the mix and get to know the people in my life. Personally, I'm confident unless I'm feeling insecure, happy unless something has me down, and funny...well, I hope I try to be funny in all situations that life throws my way. I hope that also makes me human.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working in internal communications for an investment firm. I'm not a banker just a writer.
I’m really good at
writing, organizing, telling a good story and making people laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me sharp sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Good/bad reality TV, any smart, well-written drama (Game of Thrones, Outlander, The Americans, Walking Dead) or comedy (Girls, Veep, Modern Family, Blackish) Theater - both on/off-broadway - and I usually go a few times a month. Big fan of Mexican food or a great steak and fries. Always looking for a few book recommendations to entice me to avoid turning on the TV.
The six things I could never do without
1. my friends
2. my family
3. Good theater, TV or film
4. my DVR and phone ( a tie!)
5. french fries
6. my dreams
I spend a lot of time thinking about
where I'll be in the next 10 years and whether I'll follow through on all the things I dream of accomplishing. I'm working on getting my personal essays published.
On a typical Friday night I am
Meeting a friend for a night out or crashing at home and catching up on TV and Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
For all the humor and quick wit, I'm still very shy inside.
You should message me if
you are serious about meeting someone while still being able to have a sense of humor about it all.
