My self-summary
I honestly have no idea which approach to use in this essay. Should I be sincere, humorous, witty, a smartass? I could speak from the heart and tell you I'm looking for the girl of my dreams or I could go into a whole dialogue about how you almost never see a homeless man who's balding. They always have this thick lustrous head of hair. What do they need it for? Ok...ill get to the point....I'm born and raised in West LA. I consider myself to be more of an artsy type as opposed to your typical sport's dude, although I was a Lakers fanatic in the 80s (I was a huge Magic Johnson fan). I'm an avid film buff. Mostly film's from the 60s and 70's. Anything from Scorsese, Kubrick, Coppola, Bogdanovich, Friedkin, Altman, Ashby, Polanski, early Spielberg, the list goes on....Occasionally I come across a film that no one in the world appreciates except me. The movie may actually suck but for some reason it strikes a chord with me. Go figure?? They usually think I'm nuts. I've also been playing drums and guitar for most of my life. Rock n' Roll is and has always been my #1 passion. I thought of getting the Beatles Trivial Pursuit game but it would be unfair to the other players since I'd probably get every answer right.

Well it's obviously impossible to have everything that we want in a relationship but i really want to be with someone that has a close knit relationship with their family and not too much drama in their personal life. I also want to be with someone that I have a true connection with, my quintessential partner in crime. You should miss each other like crazy when you're apart. We all know it's the most exciting in the early stages but I'd like for that feeling to be somewhat permanent. Maybe I"m a hopeless romantic but I can dream.
What I’m doing with my life
Basically continuing on that quest for eternal happiness. I'm not sure what lies ahead but I'm excited about the possibilties.

I've learned that in order for a relationship to work you have to be truly accepting of the other person. It's a red flag if you're looking to change them from day one. It's all compromise. No getting around the fact that men and women are soooo different but that's how it is. You have to keep the relationship exciting and fresh, whatever it takes. If you're starting to feel like brother and sister it's a bad sign.

I'm attracted to the artsy intellectual type. Someone who has extensive knowledge and appreciation of film, music, and the arts in general. Overall, I want to be with someone who is generous, caring, sweet natured at their core, and doesn't use the expression "my bad"( It took me a while to realize people weren't saying "I'm bad" which actually would be less If my family approves, that usually speaks volumes to me.. Oh I left out the most important thing of all, pleeeeease have a sense of humor. I joke every chance I get so that's a biggie for me. biggie even a word?
I’m really good at
Not too long ago I discovered a new talent i have, talking my way out of a speeding ticket. The cop said, "are you in that much of a rush?" and i said in my most embarrassed voice " Sorry, I really have to go to the bathroom" and he paused and said "please drive safely in the future" and let me go :) Amazing huh?
