My self-summary
Boy Scout Promise:
A Scout is:
Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful,
Friendly, Courteous, Kind,
Obedient (sometimes!), Cheerful, Thrifty,
Brave, Clean, and mostly irreverent.
What I’m doing with my life
Living it day by day. Every second that goes by becomes history, so I look to the future and try to make my own destiny happen.

Still working and love what I do. I'm in the music business, although a non performance capacity. I am a Soldier of Harmony! I did play for 20+ years but retired from that in '88. I like to write songs, mostly with lyrics. They range from very pretty songs to pretty corny! Instrumentals I term 'space-jazz-nocturnes'.

I'm now a full time dad, as in Sept '14 my 14 yr old daughter moved in with me. This keeps me on my toes!
I’m really good at
Finding humor in life and the world. Being honest, sincere and forthright. I love this phrase: "The more and more of what I've seen of life, I've come to realize that the secret to happiness is not what you see, but it's what you manage to overlook."
The first things people usually notice about me
Blue eyes and my hair is longish. A trait from the 1960's and '70's I never let go of.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Ethnic food-really into cooking Indian food lately, but also like Mexican, Chinese, and Thai. Although I can eat a salad every night also. Music from classic R&R to classical, especially piano music. Freddy Chopin is the best! I can listen to anything for five minutes and at least appreciate what what's going on. Even a banjo... I did just go see Lydia Pense and In Cold Blood, some East Bay 'Grease' R&B funk. Great show!

All kinds of movies. Really liked the music documentary's The Wrecking Crew and Muscle Shoals; the very creepy...The Skin I live In being one.

Also I have a big interest in anything in the Fantasy and Sci Fi genre. And a passing interest in the Steampunk genre.

TV: Foyles War; Lilyhammer; The Killing; Walking Dead; Big Bang Theory (BTW, the is a bluegrass band now called "The Big Twang Theory" ha!
The six things I could never do without
A piano probably tops the list, along with water, music, friends, a computer and....you?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Thinking about what I would write here....
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm generally up for all the standard amusements!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not telling! This is not the National Enquirer.
You should message me if
I pique your interest.
