My self-summary
Hi, I am from Edinburgh and am going to be studying humanities soon, then English I think, not decided yet, lol. I enjoy most of the usual stuff, music, reading, writing, mates, movies et cetera. I am actually writing something of a story at the moment, just a little side-project, I'm enjoying it...when I can make myself actually write the thing!

Also, I'm about two quarters French, a quarter Irish, a quarter Scottish, have ADHD and have a weird name... :)

I love photography its one of my favourite things (published, semi-professional), check out my photos here on my photo page on flickr
What I’m doing with my life
Studying and bored, all my friends live far away and I need Edinburgh friends! Currently thinking about getting a mohawk.

Also hoping to get a job as a cycle courier once I get a bike, which should be soon, yay. Beats sitting in an office all day; pays better too. But in terms of "career" I want to do something creative, either photography, film and (or) writing.
I’m really good at
Forgetting things like appointments and stuff, lol.
Hmm, maybe thinking laterally, or philosophically, and listening in such a way that if there is some kind of problem I almost always have a solution, I watch the news alot and find myself thinking up solutions to the problems of the world! Some of the problems we face are so simple to fix though that its amazing we haven't booted the government out yet for failing to do it themselves.

Being generally creative as well though I suppose, I love taking pictures and making short films and stuff. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea! Probably that I am quite shy or quiet when I meet new people? But I reckon I can always make people feel comfortable, so thats fine. I'm usually a nervous wreck around girls I've just met, that I like; but thats what the internet is for... introductions! Much easier after that and then I'm as relaxed and carefree as you like.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(A) The Screwtape Letters by C.S Lewis, Incest by Anaïs Nin, The Republic by Plato, Thus Spake Zarathustra by Nietzsche, The Symposium by Plato, Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Gibbon, The Conquest of Gaul by Caeser, Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, The Misfortunes of Virtue by The Marquis De Sade, 1984 by George Orwell, Animal Farm by George Orwell, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, The Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick, Valis by Philip K. Dick, Time Out of Joint by Philip K. Dick, The Game Players of Titan by Philip K Dick, The Philipic by Cicero, Metamorphoses by Ovidius and anything else by the classic Roman and Greek writers...theres loads more, lol.

(B) Heat by Michael Mann, Apocalypse Now by Francis Ford Coppola, Alien by Ridley Scott, Leon by Luc Besson, Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo, Ghost in the Shell by Mamouro Oshii and Titus by Julie Taymor. My favourite directors are, Michael Mann, Luc Besson, Ridley Scott, Steven Speilberg, Francis Ford Coppola, his daughter Sofia Coppola and George Lucas for Star Wars.

(C) My fave band is U2 (mostly their 1990s stuff), I also love Elliot Goldenthal who is an excellent composer; also The Future Sound of London who are probably the most brilliant electronica act ever, Aphex Twin, Leftfield, Underworld, Faith no More, Sex Pistols, Public Image Ltd., Pixies, Garbage (90s stuff), Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, The Smiths, Melt-Banana, Radiohead, Fluke, Orbital, The Orb, Madonna's 90s stuff (most other stuff shes done sucks, 'specially the recent and 00s stuff; the "Justify my Love' (1990) and 'Erotica' (1992) videos and songs are HOT, lol), Vangelis, Brian Eno, Bjork, Jerry Goldsmith, The Prodigy's 90s album's, The Chemical Brothers; and LOADS more, I think the best decade for music, in the last few, was the 90's, lol.

(D) I love Italian food; I'm not too fussy about food though. Generally I love making homemade burgers and linguini bolognese (when I can be bothered, lol) otherwise those real oriental noodles (ramen) you get in the foreign food section in Tesco are amazing, my fave is called 'mi goreng', I think its Malaysian or something, Yum. I'm getting hungry thinking about all this actually.
The six things I could never do without
Sine qua non:

1. My Pee see and high speed brawd band connek-shun.

2. Thinking about stuff constantly (minds always going; ADHD) and philosophy.

3. My few, but close friends.

4. Movies, music, anything creatively inspiring.

5. Number 5 eludes me.

6. Coffee, cigs, recreational drugs. I like my vices.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think all the time about everything. I have a very active mind. Its the ADHD again, lol.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting at my P.C listening to music, watching a movie or writing, or going out, for an awesome night out, now and again. Although I actually like a lazy night in as well, if only I could have it with a girl...

I don't go out much but when I do I like it to be a fun, generally awesome night. All my mates live in Stirling so Ive never actually tried to go out and meet new people here in Edinburgh, so that's partly why I'm on here! Its about time I made some new, Edinburgh friends, preferably closer to me than Stirling or Dunfermline! :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I haven't had sex for about a year and a few months :(, got loads of other mental secrets but I'll only tell girls I like, lol :)
You should message me if
Your intelligent, open-minded, horny, not too prissy, down to earth, fun, blah blah, you get the picture, just a cool, nice girl. :)

All my mates live in or near Stirling so I've never actually tried to go out and meet new people here in Edinburgh, so that's partly why I'm on here.
