Is anyone on this site interested in actually meeting up in the real world to, you know, do stuff? I can't handle another endless e-mail conversation that ultimately goes nowhere.
Quick note: due to the nature of my work,(Active Duty Navy) I will be unable to, in fact, meet in person until May of 2017. If this makes me a hypocrite, so be it. Until then, however, I would love to have someone to e-mail just so that I can keep my sanity. Thank you for understanding.
About me: I'm tall (5'11"), athletic (I try), well-dressed (does a Navy uniform count?), intelligent (you'd be surprised) and funny (usually, well... sometimes).
I am currently an officer in the Navy and plan to stay in for the next 10 years or so. Its a good job, but I tend to move around a lot.
In my spare time I enjoy coming up with wacky adventures for myself like running the Boston Marathon, playing in the World Series of Poker, hiking the Grand Canyon at night in the middle of winter, and riding a scooter cross-country from Florida to California by way of Las Vegas. I love to go camping, but rarely get the chance to.
I love to go out an have fun and I like to try new things. I am a busy person with work but I do have free time and would love someone to go out with, to talk to, to chill with.
I'm finally at a point in my life where I can start thinking long term. I have a good job, car, nearly perfect credit score, etc. I'd really like to find someone to start a long lasting relationship with.
I still like the idea of going on wild adventures, But I'd rather have someone to come along with me. I hope to find someone who likes zombie movies and random adventures to help me try to take over the world. If she happens to be smart, funny and beautiful as well, that's even better.
(movies)Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Blues Brothers, Ferris Beuller's day off, Back to the future, One Flew over the Cukoos Nest, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Weekend at Bernie's, Empire Records, Grandma's Boy, Shaun of the Dead, most Disney movies, Dune, Space Balls, Robin Hood: M.I.T., Little Miss Sunshine, Zombieland, Whip It, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Silver Linings Playbook, World War Z, Warm Bodies. (I HATE remakes of good movies) looking forward to the next hobbit movie.
(tv shows) Suits, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Community, South Park, Archer, The Big Bang Theory
(music) I listen to a wide variety of music ranging from early 60's (Elvis, Beatles) to present day and am always open to discovering something new.
I've been binge-watching Shark Tank a lot lately and I think I can do that.
Not start a business from scratch, necessarily, but I think I'd make an excellent shark.
The only question is how to start a venture capital empire with very little money. Any ideas?
(Have any suggestions?)
