My self-summary
Under Promise and Over Deliver!

I’m educated and fairly successful by most yardsticks. I live alone in a small house in Scripps Ranch. In lieu of the shirtless photo in front of my sports car taken in the reflection of my bathroom mirror, I’ll just say I stay in shape with a healthy life style and drive a new mild-mannered SUV.

About body types. Sumo wrestlers and bowlers are athletes, right? Jokes aside, I do like to bowl once in a while (my high game is 222) and I did wrestle in high school. So you’re probably not gonna be able to pin me unless you catch me off guard (or better yet, in the mood).

I go to the gym 3-4 times a week to maintain tone, but I focus more on cardio than body building. I have absolutely no drama (really!). I’m handy around the house, especially in the kitchen. My ex actually once said in a small group, “He’s good in every room in the house”. My dad proudly took the meaning much differently than was intended ;)
What I’m doing with my life
I have a good Life Style. I work to live, not live to work.

My two sons have moved out and since they live in the county, I see them regularly.
I’m really good at
I enjoy a good mix of activities including a vigorous or leisurely hike, a bike ride around the bay with a stop for a drink and/or sandwich, and dinner and a movie at home. I tend to cook from scratch but it’s nice to take a short cut too. I can make a tasty, healthy meal to please just about any palate.
The first things people usually notice about me
That's not as important as what you remember about me.

btw., I have seen this answer on a few other profiles. Exact quote. I swear, I'm the original author.
Six things I could never do without
1. Friends and Family
2. Affection
3. Social interaction/contact
4. Fresh herbs (I’m a pretty fair cook)
5. Transportation (All kinds, especially cruise ships)
On a typical Friday night I am
A perfect afternoon would be to go on a bike ride, followed by a late lunch with an ocean view. And then trying to catch the Green Flash during one of San Diego's beautiful sunsets.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The most private things are in the Q&A. I bet yours are too ;)

I once ate dog food (by mistake). I was visiting my sister around Christmas and there was a bowl of treats on the lamp table in the living room that looked like malted milk balls. Some people put out treats, especially around Christmas. But these were for her cute little doggy.

I did that thing your parents say, "Would you jump off a bridge because everybody else did?" I did jump off a bridge in high school (about 70 feet) cuz everybody else did ;) No one was hurt. At a lower height we did get a good smack on our feet when we hit the water. But we climbed up the trestle to get even higher. We wore sneakers for the big jump.
You should message me if
You’re a friendly, outgoing, fun, active, “normal” lady who is financially stable. I don’t have a long list of must-have requirements or deal-breaker litmus tests. The former seems a little elitist and the latter seems negative to me.

I’d like to find my playful partner. I like the term, “partner in crime” – it sounds fun! And I do mean “partner” in that we’re equals, we share, etc.

You live in the county or are at least driving distance. Mail order brides need not apply. That last one seems to get missed a lot ;)

About relationships. What is it with this option looking for “Short term dating”? Of course we’re all not a good match for each other and we’ll figure that out soon enough. But I’m not going into this with the intent of 5 dates and out. If I know up front that we’re only good for 5 dates, we shouldn’t waste our time.

Don’t get the impression I’m looking to get married or live together right away. Or have a clingy relationship. I’m not. It’s just that I’m not looking for “Sport Dating”. And that includes Hook-Ups.

For us, our relationship will start out with the stamp, “No Expiration Date Required.”
