My self-summary
I could fill this box with a slew of adjectives that probably appear in 9 out of 10 of these profiles. While giving voice to them here will not make them any less true, actions will both not only show them, but prove them as well. I suppose I could also fill this space with a list of activities I enjoy, but if I did that what is left to be discovered through the rituals of dating and conversation?

Alas, we come to a declaration of intent. I intend to perhaps meet someone with some commonality in life view and interests. At the very least someone who is passionate about some facet of life, culture, and/or intersts. Someone who would feel comfortable spending time exploring the beauties of the moments, and providing mutual consolations in the ugly and morbid aspects of the mortal coil state of the present we are forced to endure. Someone who is comfortable in silence, and realizes that words are not always necessary. Someone who is driven to take charge when necessary, and find common ground in disagreement. Someone who doesn't scorn the simple and flaunts excess for excess sake. Someone who will question, and learn, and invite questions. Someone who will fall asleep on a shoulder and be cutely annoyed when the subject of drool and snoring comes up.

Essentially, a friend to share what life has to offer with.

Ok, now I'm done with the overly vague, allegorical run-on sentences...I think.
What I’m doing with my life
Usualy working, but as of right now, sitting infront of this box and musing on how life was simpler when you could just pinch a girl on the arm to let her know you liked her....
I’m really good at
Once again, I could list off a few dozen things, but "words are wind"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Steven King (the Dark Tower, Stand) Anne Rice (Vampire chronicles), Ann Bishop (Black Jewels), Stephan Lawhead (Hood), The Hunger Games, Dune, basically fantasy fiction, historical fiction, sci/fi horror, and historical fiction. Essentially anything with deeper meaning assigned to the mundane a rudimental structures which account for stylized genre writting.

Movies: Pretty much anything.

Music: This one would take way way way too long. I listen to it all, from classical to metal, with little rap and very little country. Strange music combo's (if you know who Eluveitie is you get points) are also a favorite. I love contemporary acapella, celtic folk, piano, chamber music... the list goes on forever. I love when music is complex, containing odd time signatures, and complex music structures (counterpoint, theme, atonal cord progressions, multiple melodies, etc etc etc) and lately I've been into a lot of electro/dubstep/chillstep.
Six things I could never do without
A book, music, paper and a pen, friends, family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
A lot of things from the philosophical to why on earth do people think the birth, marriage and eventual break up of celebrities should be front page news? How they should add a "pinch her on the arm" button....
On a typical Friday night I am
At a local show, at home with a movie, working.
You should message me if
You want to get to know me.
You know where the quote comes from.
you can have an intelligent conversation.
say more then "hey" or "hi", as I will not read it without something besides that. (Hint: I like questions, they show your interested)
