My self-summary
Well, what should I tell about myself?

I just graduated from Med school and so I guess I am in between jobs at the moment, trying to figure out what to do with my life. I probably wouldn’t mind going for a PhD if I could just decide on which subject I find most interesting and of course if there is a position open in that field. But I guess we’ll have to see what happens in the future.

I guess that I should also mention that I have an MSc in Electrical Engineering. So what in the world made me go to med school? Well, I had what you could call a mentor where I worked when I was fresh out of uni. He was the one I could always go to when I had questions or needed advice. Unfortunately he passed away about five years ago in cancer and the place I worked at never felt the same again after that. So I guess it got me thinking about the choices I had made in life and what I wanted to do with my life. Well, to make a long story short I decided that I wanted to do something that made a difference in someone else’s life. At the end of the day I hope that, maybe the world’s a bit better place than it was when I got out of the bed in the morning. Perhaps a bit idealistic but I guess that’s just who I am.

I can’t say that I am very materialistic. Which is one of the reasons I have managed to spend ten years at uni without much effort. But well, all good things must end at some point. I guess my end is in sight and just a year and a half from now you might find me working as an intern somewhere.

Aside from that I am a verbal person who enjoys conversations, literature, photography and a few other things. I do also love cooking which is always good fun in the company of friends. Good food is always best enjoyed in the company of friends, right?

I am curious, happy, and positive
What I’m doing with my life
I've just finished medical school and now it's time to get out in to the world and start helping patients. But I guess a couple of more courses at uni wouldn't be so bad either and perhaps in the future a PhD program if I find some interesting field.
I’m really good at
Learning new stuff :)
A good listener
The first things people usually notice about me
I generally get the comment that I am a nice person. But I'm not quite sure what others tend to notice about me. Perhaps because I haven't asked anyone that question?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love crime novels, Fantasy, SciFi. I do read a lot of course literature, although they are interesting I'm not sure if I would call them my favorite books.

I like vampire movies and SciFi

When it comes to music I guess that I would have to say hard rock, some synth, and what ever that’s playing on the radio.

Home cooking is always nice. But Chinese, TexMex, French, Greek and Mediterranean cuisine would have to be my favorites.
Six things I could never do without
My friends
My computer
My stethoscope
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I guess I would have to say how the world around me works. I am what you would call a thinker. Not that I try to over analyze everything but I am always curious as to why things are the way they are. That includes people as well as physical things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well, that would depend on what I am going to do on Saturday right?

An evening out with friends, talking over a couple of beers is always nice. I would say that I am more interested in going to places where you are actually able to talk to people rather than just seeing their lips move.

A nice evening at home with someone special sharing a nice meal and a quiet evening is also quite nice. So I guess it more depends on what I feel like doing than anything else... I'm very flexible.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Well, I'm not sure if I would want to admit anything really private here. I guess that people will just have to learn to know me and my quirks.
You should message me if
If you think we have something to talk about?
