My self-summary
I can do long division on paper and can explain the theory of relativity (which is still blowing my mind).

I make stuff. I can fix stuff. I can use tools. I'm like a monkey 2.0.

I'm a simple guy, on my own path, irreverent, well traveled, down with high and low culture, able to dress myself properly, essentially hopeful and optimistic, willing to get down to some reggae/dancehall.

I lived in Paris for 9 months and my French went from non-existent to absolutely horrible. That's an improvement right? I speak French only to dogs and babies.

Seriously, though I'm rather amazed at how much more there is to learn and how much more there is to figure out at this age.
What I’m doing with my life
Writing, making art, showing it, trying to not get hurt on my bike again. Skateboarding through the city. Getting up at 4 am to surf. Finding a path for the creative life and being a financially responsible adult at the same time. And now running my own bag (not hand bags ladies 😪 ) company.
I’m really good at
Calculating the tip. Daydreaming. Breaking down other people's problems.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Sushi. The steak I had in Madrid. The salad I had at Five Leaves Greenpoint. The seafood I had in Barcelona. The food I had at a tiny restaurant in Hamburg. Cous cous with meregeuz sausage in Belleville, Paris. I'm hungry now.

Ham on Rye by Bukowski, Catcher in the Rye by Salinger. Where I'm Calling From by Carver. The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things by J.T. Leroy (yeah I know he's not real). Self portrait in a Convex Mirror by John Ashbury.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Before Sunrise. Before Sunset.

Not sure what my fav bands are anymore but these guys have stood the test of time. Coltrane. Yo la Tengo. Modest Mouse. Pavement.

Oh and This American Life is pretty damn good.
Six things I could never do without
Contact lenses, phone (it's where I take notes for story ideas, building my business, all of that), good looking walking shoes, bicycle with helmet, lots of fruit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Too many things like analyzing why things are good/work/don't work/how it could be better, human interaction, emotions, poems, stories, art, furniture, design, fashion, the future.

How this profile could not possibly describe either who I am or who you are.

Emotion vs. logic.

The rational and irrational mind.

How to simplify.

How to be happy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Seeing what's going on in Brooklyn. I'm usually on my bike going/coming from some place. Tonight I had dinner with two female friends who told me what's wrong with my profile.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a mystery to myself. Help me help myself.

And I'm smart dumb.
You should message me if
You're into word play and absurdity.

Ladies who know a lot about things I don't know anything about or a lot about stuff I know about. Ladies who can help me remember that last line/idea I just forgot. Ladies with a sense of humor for the odd, absurd, nonsensical, random... and those that can laugh at themselves and me.

Also women who'd like to bike thru the city at night.

And those who can enjoy silence as much as a good conversation.

Really I'm looking for someone I can laugh with
