My self-summary
Friends call me a goofball and a dork. They still hang around, so they must like that, haha. I love music. I studied music in college and have an eclectic music collection filled with among other things alternative/rock, film scores, recording from The Voice artists, video game music, and just about everything in between. I wrote a few songs myself and my open mic friends are some of my closest friends.

I’ve spent a good chunk of the last year or so improving my life in many ways. I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off. A running buddy is always welcome. I'm still working up my distance after tearing my ACL a few years ago, but running another half-marathon eventually would be awesome. Getting out of grocery work into a much better paying job has made me immensely happier. I’ve traveled a lot in the last year (Portland, Ashland, Las Vegas, Disneyland) and am looking forward to travelling more and further away as well.

I give a lot of myself in just about everything I do: work, my music and especially those I care about. I’m very open, honest and non-judgmental. My friends and family know they can talk to me about anything and I will go far out of my way to help whenever possible. Communication is huge, if you’re honest and up front about everything, you might be surprised how I’d react.

Let’s go to a baseball or hockey game, a comedy show, some fancy new restaurant, a concert, a musical or just get some coffee! I don’t drink coffee, but there’s plenty of other drink options, especially if the company is good. :-)
What I’m doing with my life
After finishing my BA in Creative Arts at SJSU, I'm currently looking to transition from working at the grocery job that got me through college to office/administration. In the meantime I play guitar and sing and perform at open mics for fun. I get my exercise by running, trips to the gym and occasionally playing badminton.
I’m really good at
Music: Band geek in high school, choir geek in college, singer/songwriter with my guitar now. My sister blames me for getting all the family musical talent.

Also, finding a way for friends to have fun at a baseball game even if they aren't as big a baseball fan as I am.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first thing people notice is that I'm not afraid to be myself, even around strangers. I'm a proud goofball and a dork... I'm also kinda loud

I spend a lot of time thinking about
lyrics for my unfinished songs, and where I'd like to travel to next! Recently, I've spent a lot of time pondering why oh why Trump has ANY support in this election, still haven't figured this out
On a typical Friday night I am
No typical Fridays, but this list of my activities this summer should give you an idea: Lots of concerts, lots of A's games, Sharks playoff games, a day at Raging Waters, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, River Rafting, late night drinks, playing gigs, movies on the beach
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My love of music was evident at an early age. My mom recalls a story of me dancing around in my playpen to the Fraggle Rock theme.
