My self-summary
I'm pretty easy to entertain, and can find enjoyment doing almost any activity whether going out or staying in. As for what I do regularly, I play volleyball and bowling in leagues, watch movies, general socializing, work out less than I should etc. I also really enjoy tennis and karaoke, but rarely have anyone to do them with. The majority of my alone time is spent reading, goofing around on the computer, or watching the food network / sports (more often a combination of all three).
What I’m doing with my life
Getting by on my good looks and charm.
I’m really good at
Trivia, tennis, being awesome......umm......stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
No idea, feel free to let me know and maybe I'll post it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read a lot. In terms of time spent, reading is third in my life behind work and sleep. I will read almost any genre, and would be as likely to be caught reading Harry Potter or Hunger games as I would one one the 'classics'. Recently I have been reading a lot of fantasy/sci-fi. Dresden files, Enders series, etc and next on the list is the dark tower series. Overall my favorites from these genres has been the Foundation series by Asimov, and who doesn't like LOTR? Fun fact: If/when I own dogs, they will most likely be named daneel and giskard.

I usually switch back and forth between fiction and something that I can learn from. Most recently the topic of my non-fiction has been investing/finance, but in terms of bulk, my most read topics relate to biology in some way. I'm always up for suggestions, so fire away.

I'm not extremely picky with my tv and movie watching. My favorite shows at the moment are Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and American Horror Story. Some of my all-time favorites were Stargate Universe, Firefly especially but most things from Joss Whedon (Yes, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.....It's quite funny and has lots of tie-in jokes. I can feel you judging me....), Lost, Sherlock, Peep Show, among others.
Six things I could never do without
1. Water
2. Funny pictures of cats
3. Sleep
4. Sam Adams Octoberfest
5. Berks
6. Inappropriate jokes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whether quotes are actually attributed correctly. As Abraham Lincoln said " don't believe everything you read on the internet".
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually still out at least once a week for bowling, karaoke, sporting events or live shows etc. Unfortunately (for me at least) most of my friends are now married, parents, both, or live far much of my potential social time has evolved into game night, dinner, hanging out at someone's house, or the ever more frequent staying home with a book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I get a tiny bit disappointed when I see the word chemistry in someone's profile, and then find out that they aren't referring to actual chemistry. I love lawlcats, I meet most of my victims through dating websites, its always karaoke in my car, the mustache in one of my pictures is now gone.....probably.

And I am somewhat ashamed to admit this, but at one point after I joined this website I found enough bored time to answer 1337 questions (to some, the reason should be obvious).
You should message me if
For friends/activity partner (if any apply): You think we have a common interest or would like to introduce me to a new one, you would like to talk about any subject (books, movies, religion or lack thereof, politics, which shape of pasta and cheese is better, why 'deal or no deal' is the worst tv show ever made, etc), or if you like meeting new and fun people to hang out with and can offer the same.

For dating: You live relatively near me and you think that I'm attractive and interesting enough?

If your name is not used in a song. Alright, you can message me too, but don't be surprised if I start singing it randomly when I'm around you.

Or if you love Doctor Who and own a cat because, lesbehonest, you know you feel an irresistible urge to want our first date to be watching 1970 Doctor Who while I do lines of ground up Claritin in an unsuccessful bid to keep my airways clear enough to wheeze less loudly than the static on your VHS tapes. (I'm allergic to roughly half the cats I come in contact with, and for some reason women who own them and love Doctor Who are drawn to me....or all women love Doctor Who and own cats. I'm not sure which, but I'm guessing it's the former.)
The two of us
