I love creating something that didn't exist before, be it music, food, art, or anything. I also love seeking out new adventures in daily life as well as discovering new countries, cultures, and people.
I like to stay pretty active, and you can either find me paling around with friends, or working on a creative project. I love food in all shapes and sizes and varieties. I enjoy going out to nice restaurants and talking with strangers... or maybe even sharing food with them. I enjoy playing improvisational music that works like conversation, or texture, or both. I really love to travel, especially if spontaneously (I recently returned from about a one year travel adventure). I am happy to jump in a car to go for a hike at one of the many wonderful places the bay area has to offer, or jump in a plane to a far away country. I really just love exploring life - taking chances - gaining experience and good stories.
I think this quote is pretty inspiring, in that it encourages the idea of taking chances to learn something: "One of the advantages of being disorderly is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries". A. A. Milne
I love San Francisco, and have lived there for the last 10 years. But I've been working down in Palo Alto so I've been living down south for about a year now. It is true, I left my heart in San Francisco, and I'm there often.

I love all kinds of food - everything from grand gourmet to a cheap taqueria. I love places that aren't pretentious and where people are more interested in just doing something well. I mainly love food with good ingredients put together by somebody who cares. That makes good food in my book!
I love a good movie - anything coen brothers (especially big lebowski), Amelie, Being John Malkovich, American Beauty, Amores Perros, Spinal Tap, Harold and Maude, Don Hertzfeldt's Rejected
