My self-summary
I moved to LA from Chicago less than a year ago. So far so good, but I don't really know many people yet, so here I am!

My whole life I’ve moved around a lot and travel has been a huge part of my life. I would say that I'm pretty adventurous and really enjoy outdoorsy sports (like skiing, hiking, etc). I also love camping, and exploring new places.

Most of my interests involve the arts; I went to school for acting and love doing that. I did not move to LA for the acting and have no aspirations for fame. I am more interested in finding ways where my performance art can change my life and others in a positive way. I don't tend to get along with frivolous people who only care about networking and not about making real human connections.

I love to paint and draw, and try to find time to do that on a regular basis. I am always working on some sort of little creative project; and I love building things too!

I love to learn new things, so please teach me something new! I have a huge curiosity for life and everything in it.

My close friends would describe me as loving, free spirited, funny, social, happy, artsy and down to earth. (This is literally what they said.)
I’m really good at
Baking carrot cake
Building things (furniture, etc)
Driving manual
The first things people usually notice about me
I smile a lot, so probably my smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Fear and Loathing in LV, Game of Thrones, Maya Angelou, Tom Wolfe, Siddhartha, The Buddha walks into a bar, I'll give you the sun, I am the messenger, and anything that will make me think and try to change. I love to read.

Movies: Lion King, Reservoir Dogs, Big Lebowski, anything Miyazaki.

TV: Sherlock, Arrested Development (more so the old ones than the new), 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Orphan Black, Simpsons, Twin Peaks

Music: Depends on my mood. I like almost everything. I listen to Podcasts more often than music lately. (radiolab, TAL, wait wait, lovecast, harcore history, etc)

Food: Pretty much everything and anything!
Six things I could never do without
family & friends
pen & paper
nature & animals
FREEDOM (counts for 2)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout or getting my party on - how do you let lose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cry every time I watch the Lion King.
You should message me if
You'd like to make a good friend or adventure partner.

I don't know too many people in the city, so friendship is my number one priority... if something else comes out of that, I'm all for it too!
