Its a recent revelation that maybe I can adult whilst finding my rediscovering my passion.
I have pointy teeth.
Books: I'm currently reading a few; Dune by Frank Herbert, Hands-On Chaos Magic by Andrieh Vitimus, Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, I Asked for Wonder by Abraham Joshua Heschel, Soul without Shame by Byron Brown, and Reality is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World by Jane McGonigal. Other than these my most common rereads are the Watchmen graphic novel and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
Movies: I just recently saw Whip It and I can safely say that is currently my favorite movie. I have a tendency to watch a lot of movies but I've recently seen and enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Melancholia, The Hobbit, Primer, Castaway on the Moon, and Safety Not Guaranteed. My most common rewatches are probably K-PAX, Dr. Horrible,Instinct, Hudson Hawk, Life Aquatic, Die Hard, and I've been longing to watch Children of Men again for a while now, but in general I'm not big on rewatching films for some reason.
Shows: I'm currently very frustrated that I can't catch up on Walking Dead or Doctor Who right now. I also rewatch Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Freaks and Geeks.
Music: Just know that my all time favorites are probably Foo Fighters and Nirvana. La Dispute is up there too. I am currently further investigating Radiohead to a large degree. I am extremely fond of the Lumineers, Barenaked Ladies, Coldplay, Alt-J, and John Spencer Blues Explosion, and all their like. Basically the only thing I won't actively listen to is country. Oh and this one cover For No One I heard on the radio. Sorry to say that song is the first in a long time that makes me want to drive a spike through my brain. Oh, and I love exploring my tastes so...feel free to drop names.
Food: I like to try new things but am fond of things with garlic, hot spices, or sweet tastes. I have developed a bit of a sweet tooth as of late.
I believe love is a lot like faith. "One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving." Love means wanting to see someone joyous and prosperous. Not keeping them from their full potential but helping to raise them to it time and time again. Do I have this all wrong somehow?
I would prefer the company of free spirited altruists but in general, an original thought or even just a novel one is rarely turned aside by the likes of me.
You want to create and/or brainstorm some creative enterprise or another (films, art, engineering, etc.) or hell, even just play games.
