My self-summary
*no exceptions*

(Forewarning, I like to talk a lot..)
I'm a combination of different sorts:
- Half extrovert, half introvert. I like to read my books around quiet, but I get my energy from being around people.
- I'm a mediator. If there are two sides to the story, I can help the parties communicate and find a resolution. I don't help with 3 sides very well.
-I love to read and am a pretty good editor. Used to write a lot, but now I prefer editing.
-I like to be active, but not alone. I love to hike and walk around the mall and River Front.
-I enjoy meeting new people :) and that's what I'm here for- to make friends.

I love movies and I try to watch/see/do things at least once with new people.
I *am* seeing a guy, but I'm looking for friends and possibly a close girl friend.
Big plus if you're a dog or cat lover. Bigger plus if you own one or both. I currently have 1 cat, but grew up with dogs. Depending on the breed, I prefer cats to dogs now.

Any qs? Just ask :)

Found this interesting quote:
“Women are like apples on trees; the best ones are on the top. Men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and don't want to get hurt. Instead, they go for the rotten apples from the ground that aren't so good, but easy. So, the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top because they value quality.”
What I’m doing with my life
-Working on being more decisive.
-Would rather work than school.
-Working currently in retail. Dream job is with words.
- I'm hoping to possibly be an editor some day.

My main goal in life is to be happy. And to be with someone who understands me.
I’m really good at
-Being there as a friend
-Taking people by surprise by saying something weird.
-Trying things at least 2-3 times before I get it down.
-I've been told I'm very good at mediating and editing.
The first things people usually notice about me
-My short height
-My smile.
-My transitional hazel eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Are you ready for all this? This is pretty much a summary of what I like.

I love books, especially series
-Fav books:
Harry Potter
Twilight Saga (if you imagine Bella *sarcastic* and clumsy, it's hilarious. I agree the movies up till 2nd half of 2 sucked)
Gallagher Academy
Mortal Instruments
--other kinds of books I like:
Every Breath You Take, Body Heat, Summer Affair, Pandora, The Host, all three 50 Shades (of Grey)
I'm a movie fanatic, so I'll sum it up a little. Send me a message if you want to know more.

-Fav musicals:
Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Rock of Ages, Pitch Perfect, Repo Genetic Opera (the only opera I'll watch/listen to), Queen of the Damned

-Fav movies: [genre and examples]
Action (Taken, last couple Fast Fives)
Comedy (Grown Ups 1, Fun with Dick and Jane, 50 First Dates) Horror (Prom Night, Stay Alive)
Syfy (depends..)
Drama (The Wedding Planner, Raising Helen)
-Fav shows: [depends on the school/summer season...] I categorize by the days of the week they're on to keep track.
BUUUUT there are too many to list.
*Ask if you're curious :). We might have a few in common ;)*
-Fav music:
Country: Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Gretchen Wilson, Keith Urban, Faith Hill (to name a few) [I grew up with country, but can stand very little "honky tonk"]
Pop: Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake (to name a few)
Rock: Eminem, Staind, Lifehouse, Daughtry, Bruce Springsteen, Maroon 5, Pink, (to name a few)
Alternative: Radiohead, Coldplay, Muse, The Smashing Pumpkins (to name a few)
-Fav food: Mexican (cheese & bean burritos). I also like Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and American (in that order)

I love being cooked for :), especially pastas (anything with cheese and/or meat sauce) and cheese burgers well done.

However, I'm not the greatest cook :/ and I am a very Plain Jane/picky eater.
Essentially, I like a little bit of everything, BUT I DO NOT like:
mushrooms, onions, cauliflower, peppers/hot sauce, really spicy things, olives, artichokes, uncooked spinach, leafy salad, cabbage, mayo, mustard, sea food (except scallops and water chestnuts)...
See? I'm terrible XD
Six things I could never do without
1. companionship
2. intimacy
3. showers
4. entertainment
5. support
6. transportation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-Close friends and fam I miss who are gone.
-The next time I'm going to see friends/visit fam.
-Situations going on around me.
-What I want to do with my life.. It tends to fluctuate.
-Trying not to worry so much.
-How things in life seem to happen for a specific reason.

Wondering if there is someone out there specifically for me. I'm starting to think it's a compromise between what I enjoy and can tolerate in someone.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home, usually. I'd love to get out of the house for a few hours :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
-My religion- I'm Jewish, reformed. The opposite of conservative. (I don't do Friday night services, just a few major holidays.)
-Sometimes I'm too trusting. I have friends who are very protective of me.
-I am not very good at adjusting to change and doing things too quickly scares me. I have anxiety that I'm working on controlling.
You should message me if
You have any questions and/or want to get to know me better :)
