by a gang of snails. A police detective came to investigate and
asked the turtle if he could explain what happened. The turtle
looked at the detective with a confused look on his face and
replied “I don't know, it all happened so fast........” Enough of
the turtle jokes...I'm looking for an intelligent, caring,
professional guy with a sense of humor for a serious relationship.
Me?...secure, passionate, curious and engaged in life, career
competent, very open minded, risk taker...um...calculated risk
taker!...in the spirit of adventure and learning. Fun loving girl,
with a serious side. Two terrific, normal kids, on their way to
being great adults, one in college, has boomeranged. I am easy
going, very casual and unpretentious, though I do appreciate the
finer things. Honest and genuine. If it looks like I'm interested
in what you have to say, it's because I am! Fun to be with.Love to
travel and explore, especially Europe; interested in cultures other
than my own; serious volunteer for an international organization-
it's a passion for me. Love movies, and have a wide range of
tastes- Believe it or not, have a side job getting paid to see
movies! Big reader, too. NY Times on Sunday, good fiction, non
fiction. Also like to write- Looking to share the pleasures of life
with someone...who is spirited, independent, soulful, fun, and has
a zest for life. There's nothing better than a good sense of humor
and heart to heart conversation. I love my friends, but only one or
two call me by my nickname- I'd love to find the kind of playful
intimacy where that's only natural. Meet me and my yellow lab at
the dog park?
Kids are pretty much raised, tho if you have older kids you know it's a different set of issues. They know I am open and can handle anything they bring me, so we talk a lot, laugh a lot, and I am feeling good about the relationships we have grown into.
I volunteer for an organization I love which creates global citizens with an eye towards world peace- so "sixties", so worth it.
Interesting work to do
Of course, my kids
