My self-summary
London-based Yorkshire guy. I'm smart, sexy & funny with nice eyes (4 of them). Now with added beard. Recent born-again cyclist.

I'm looking for smart, sexy & funny women with nice eyes (any number). I like to go on dates without an agenda & see where it takes us; I met both my flatmate and my last relationship of two years on OKC dates so it's good to let each relationship find its own level. My last relationship was open, but I'm not averse to monogamy, all things are possible with the right person.

I give good dating, I really enjoy sitting in a pub getting to know someone & have yet to have an awkward moment, let alone a bad night so come & have a drink, it'll be fun. Plus I have the best local in London. Seriously.

There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, & those who don't. If you think this is funny please get in touch.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a self-employed photographer, so I spend my days mostly in front of a computer pretending my life is more glamorous than it is. Outside of work I'm mostly cycling by day & learning to dance (currently swing & ballroom) by night.

If you want my life story, I worked as a holiday rep in my summers off from university, stayed abroad to play the piano full time after graduation, then sang in a Blues Brothers tribute band for a while. This left my days free, so I took up photography for fun, discovered I was considerably better at it than singing & it gradually took over my life to the point where I had to move back to England & it's now my full-time job.
I’m really good at
Making people look as good in photos as they do in real life. But with better lighting.
Dressing up.
Playing the piano.
Making guacamole.
Remembering dance steps for around 30 seconds.
The first things people usually notice about me
Confidence, shoes, hat, beard. Lycra. Not necessarily on a date.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm looking for people I can connect with, I'm not going to accept or reject anyone based on what they read, watch, listen to or eat when I'm not with them. I do own The Ethical Slut though, & have found it most helpful. Also Richard Cheese & Frisky & Mannish rock. & I don't like beetroot. Purple is not a food colour.
Six things I could never do without
Bike, camera, internet, friends, cooking, piano & sex. Not in that order. I have a maths degree but don't appear to be able to count to six.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my work, I'm pretty passionate about it. & where to cycle to next. But not at the same time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Saving my energy for Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Well if I admit it to the entire interweb, by default it's no longer private, so I'd need to take it down & replace it with something else, which would immediately be no longer private. See my problem here? Just read my questions, it's all there.

Re the section below, I've ticked casual sex because I'm a guy, & sometimes it happens, & it can be quite pleasant, & to not tick it would be a big fat lie. It does not mean I want it from you, & it certainly doesn't mean I'll be expecting it if we meet for a drink. I ticked long-term dating as well, it doesn't mean I'll be asking you to move in after two alcopops.
You should message me if
Any of the following apply, the more the merrier...

We have a high match score. I'm way more attracted to personality than looks (apart from sparkly eyes. I do like sparkly eyes) so I'm going to trust OKCupid till proved disappointed.

You have sparkly eyes.

You're s rather than D.

You're good at kissing. Kissing is important.

You'd rather spend our first date telling me who you are than what you do.

Edit: You have a bike and/or an interest in partner dancing.
