My self-summary
Oh man, I am not digging this whole typing bullshit about myself thing. But here I go! I'm a busy gal with a large social circle looking for a forever person. Life is messy, and I am looking for someone to make a mess with.

I'm quick with wits, enjoy making people laugh, and I'm starting to figure out that it's all made up and the points don't matter.

I have a good job, own a good home, care deeply for my family and friends, and love being me.
What I’m doing with my life
I've done a good bit of theater around the twin cities. I love cooking and eating and I'm proud to say I've perfected butter pie crust... So flaky and delicious. When I have time and energy I go to shows, plays, and movies. Hell, sometimes I even have game nights!

I work a 9-5, and on top of that I'm going back to college part time. For fun I stage manage for fashion events, officiate weddings, throw parties, and enjoy my family and friends. I read noneducational books when I can, and I adore getting out of town from time to time.

My absolute favorite thing on Saturday mornings is sipping coffee and watching PBS cooking shows.
I’m really good at
Talking in front of people. I have the opposite of fear when it comes to public speaking.

I am only OK at falling asleep, but I am really good at finding the most comfortable way to lie down.

Other things I am good at? Making people laugh, giving hugs/comfort, reading books, planning stuff, and cooking.

Oh, and wearing glasses.

I am terrible - TERRIBLE - at remembering to take out the garbage. I fucking HATE taking out the garbage.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh, and my smile.
And if you look hard, behind my glasses, my dark blue eyes.

The six things I could never do without
I could not successfully survive without my glasses.

But really, I need time with people, time alone, books, music, good food, and more of that sort of junk.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Danish word 'hygge'.
The ideas in the book 'Flatland'.
What kind of food will I attempt to master next.
How much prosecco is too much prosecco. (trick question)
How well I would do on Wheel of Fortune.
What I will do with my future BA degree
On a typical Friday night I am
The farther into my 30s I go, the more comfortable I am with relaxed Friday nights. So maybe I am home alone, maybe friends are gathering for a game night, maybe I am going out and about to a show (music, theater, art, whatever).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
All the terrible crap that's been happening and then is subsequently discussed on social media has made it really easy to identify which people in my life are racist.
You should message me if
If you want to, right?
And I will reply if I want to.
