I enjoy getting outside, exploring, finding new places, eating new foods and meeting new people. I like revisiting my favorite spots. I love going to the movies and the theatre. I also really enjoy staying at home, surfing the internet, editing some videos, writing, drawing and watching tv. I enjoy the simple things. I like to have interesting conversations with friends old and new. I like to share ideas. I have noticed a lot of people in this society who are always seeking the superlatives, and I honestly think that can end up being pretty stressful and exhausting. I’d prefer to just relax, go with the flow whether slow or fast, and just have a good time.
I like trial and error. I also like user manuals. I definitely don’t have it all figured out, but if I did, where would be the fun in that? I still have a lot of success to achieve and a long but interesting road ahead. Achieving goals is great, but I always prefer the journey. I really get a kick out of milestones. I would very much like to meet someone who likes the journey and is still figuring things out themselves, and has no problem with that.
In a social gathering, I can go either way, being the quiet, reflective guy off to the side listening to the various conversations, or I can be the center of attention. I usually like to be the listener, but I have been known to talk people's ears off if we're talking about something I'm really passionate about.
I have been called "intellectually curious", and I find that appropriate. I would also consider myself artistic despite my mathematical mind. I love making videos.
When I'm not at work, I'm often making videos with my friends. Over the years we've made so many we've actually built a nice legacy together. Our current project has been a series of sketch comedy videos.
I love to write: stories, scripts, blogs, you name it. I draw whenever possible both digitally and on paper, and I integrate a lot of that into my videos and their packaging.
I'm no exercise nut, but I do enjoy regularly going for runs, usually between 4 and 8 miles, two or three times week.
There are so many movies I love and from almost every genre. A lot of it depends on my mood. Here is an eclectic list of some of my favorites so you know what I mean by random: The Princess Bride, The Dark Crystal, The Crying Game, Star Wars, Robocop, Sideways, Alien, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Shaun of the Dead, Midnight in Paris, Blade Runner.
I could take shows to mean like musical concerts, theatre or TV shows. I'm not a big concert go-er, but I probably make it to one at least once a year. The last one I went to was Deep Purple. I also try to make it to plays, maybe a couple times a year. Favorite TV shows include Lost, the Office, Star Trek, How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Recreation, Community, Family Guy, Futurama, South Park, Big Bang Theory, Battlestar Galactica... anything that was honest about being pre-scripted.
Music is cool.
As far as food... I like almost everything, and will try just about anything. Bring on the new!

As for dating and this site, I know we’re all looking for dichotomies in our partners that aren’t always easy to balance or find:
-Manly but kind
-Feminine but one of the guys
-Out-going and confident without being pushy or jerky
-Sexy but not slutty or man-whorish
-Career-driven but not a workaholic
-Good-looking/Beautiful but not conceded
-Relaxed but not lazy
In a nutshell, being successful at everything we do, but without having sold our soul to the devil to be so. It’s definitely not easy, but, we put in some effort, so let’s give each other a break.
-If you'd like to see a movie with me, or even work on a movie with me.
-If you'd like to go for a walk and talk, or a sit with a drink.
I don't care much for talking on the phone, but I love to write and craft messages, and I love getting together for good conversation in person. So, why don't we write each other some messages and make some plans to meet up.
