My self-summary
You'll find me...

- Finding or creating the perfect a meal - from the sweetest watermelon to a perfectly cooked steak with fries (medium rare!) - to the undeniable happiness of a smoky single malt - Islay has the perfect peaty scotch!

- Solving problems in a french pencil skirt. ;-) I'm a big picture person, with an eye for detail.

- Traveling - Whether I'm in red stilettos to black converse All Stars, I love the surreal light across Glen Coe to the warmth of the sunset in Santorini, or watching an unexpected flash of lighting in London...while drinking a scotch, indoors!

- Making homemade Limoncello, or pasta from scratch. I'm half Italian, so it's in my blood..

-Lazing about in a hammock by the side of the ocean in the warm beach of El Salvador, and reading a sci-fi novel (lThe Sparrow), Snuggling into a cozy couch and sipping a cappuccino on a chilly New York winter's morn.

And I'm ready for that electric spark that leaves us both lovestruck, and lights the path to a passionate and lasting marriage.
What I’m doing with my life
I am enjoying it.
I’m really good at
I have been told I make a killer limoncello...
The first things people usually notice about me
Nothing until it is too late... Blame all the killer ninja training from a misspent youth...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books – I enjoy reading. A lot. What I am reading changes based on the frame of mind I am in. I keep going through books looking for a good story that will make me feel the sense of wonder and happiness I felt the first time I read 100 Years of Solitude... that magic that makes you look up from the book and wish there was someone reading alongside you so you could share that sense of amazement. So if you have a book you feel about the same way, please let me know...

Films – All kinds (including Better off Dead). I love those by Peter Greenaway, anything by Stanley Kubrick (well – almost anything, I still wonder where Eyes Wide Shut came out of…), The Princess Bride (I found out there are R.O.U.Ss in the Amazon), The Usual Suspects, Reservoir Dogs, Run Lola Run, Tacones Lejanos, Kieslowski’s three colors, El Laberinto del Fauno…

Food: I am an omnivore. I do particularly love home made gnocchi and burrata.

As for music - eclectic - but I find that there is always room for a song that makes you want to stand up and dance or sing off the top of my lungs while cooking.
The six things I could never do without
The things/people/places I would miss the most if suddenly gone are: my family, my friends, the light in different places, books, excellent meals, and something to look forward to. Definitely something to look forward to.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Heels or Boots.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Hmmmm. Over a lovely drink - we can discuss. :)
You should message me if
... if the fate of the world hangs in the balance
...if there is an impending zombie apocalypse (it would be nice to know)
...if you're my guy.
