My self-summary
If forced to describe myself using only a myriad of adjectives I think I would say that I am caring, bubbly, driven, responsible, easy going, generous, respectful and friendly. In something more like prose, I love laughing until my sides ache while I also appreciate good heart to heart conversations. Connection and trust are key, sharing that is paramount.

I want to always challenge myself to reach my greatest potential. This may be at the gym, in my relationships, at work or within myself. I find a lot of joy in my work, my family and friends and the little things that I happen to notice all around me.

I am looking for the goof to my ball, my partner in crime, the person I want to tell all my stories to, the one I miss when he's not around, the one who will cuddle (and probably not admit he enjoys it), the one I want to see when I get home, the one I want to learn from and listen to. Could it be you?
What I’m doing with my life
That's a tall order. For the past ten years I have been working in special education, in a variety of capacities. I received my Masters in Speech and Language Pathology last year and currently work in my field loving every minute of the work I do. There are few words to describe how passionate I am about my work (if you get me started talking though you will most definitely have to stop me 😉)
I’m really good at
Giving my all in everything I do, being patient, listening, giving thoughtful gifts (so I'm told), baking, athletics, making people laugh without meaning to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't really know. They would have to tell me those things and that does not often happen. However, time and time again I have been told that I am very friendly and articulate. Lately, it's been the combo of my red hair and my name (which you probably can guess now). They fit together well. Maybe those are the first things people notice about me? Why don't you let me know when you meet me...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I listen to most genres of music but enjoy a more singer songwriters type overall. Probably because I like to sing along loudly in the privacy of my home or car. James Taylor is timeless and Patty Griffin and Dar Williams are just two of many other awesome singer songwriters in my playlists. Jazz is another favorite as I absolutely adore Peggy Lee and Etta James among many others. My favorite Pandora station is the Go-Go's Radio. I of course get hooked by catchy pop tunes and I sing and dance along any chance I get.

I am really into mystery series these days. For me though, its all about the characters so I enjoy memoirs a great deal too. Finishing a good series is a great feeling. Closing the spine of the final book leaves you itching for more. I do though love a good audiobook though. There's nothing like being read to, even as an adult.

Hmmm food...well I like to eat, eat, apples and bananas, I like to ate, ate, ate, aeples and banaenaes. Oh sorry, I like food. I will try almost anything unless it has cilantro in it (tastes like soap to me).
The six things I could never do without
1. Family and Friends
2. Good Coffee (organic fair trade)
3. The gym (keeps me feeling like my best self physically and mentally)
4. Helping People (keeps me feeling good even when I am really down)
5. My Kitchen Aide Mixer (a bakers favorite accessory)
6. Family and Friends
*I know it looks like I cheated but my family and friends are that important.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about other people. Whether I'm being silly and people watching or I'm thinking of my friend who just broke up with her boyfriend and hasn't gotten out of bed in a day and a half, I am always thinking of others. If I am shopping, I will almost always come out of the store with a gift for at least one other person for no other reason except that it "had their name written all over it". It's just who I am.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing anything from going out with friends or family to going to the gym to turning in early after a long week of work. Maybe I go out for a bike ride, or I drive down to the cape for as long a weekend as I can squeeze in. Totally depends on what I'm feeling at the time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Mind you we are online here and as much as I would like to trust and assume that everyone on this site is honest and wonderful....well you see what I mean. However I will admit that my mosquito bites swell up like baseballs and I bruise really easily.
You should message me if
You read what I have to say and you are intrigued, puzzled, amused, or any other emotion besides utterly bored : )
