What I’m doing with my life
since a near miss with an unfulfilled life (due to a ten year career as an IT Professional) I am back on track training as a consultant: one that helps people understand their motivated abilities. This means that I will be helping people find their best job fit so they don't miss their personal best career or calling.

I enjoy poetry and other forms of creative writing as well. I savor the madness and creativity present in life and the world around us; I enjoy giving it structure in my self-expression.

I also love hanging out with old and new friends. Over a drink (coffee, beer, alcohol, you name it) I love to get to know and philosophize with people.
I’m really good at
taking abstract ideas and concepts, researching them, and contextualizing them into the kind of personal expression that shapes my surroundings in a unique way. I enjoy public speaking and interpersonal communication and this is where I most often use my understandings to impact the world around me (and by "impact" I mean "crater" as in "the intrepid skydiver attempted to deploy his shoot but, instead, his impact left a crater in the otherwise unforgiving earth").
The first things people usually notice about me
is probably that I'm a tall, broad-shouldered man. After that, my deep voice. Third, I don't know--my largish nose, possibly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
are, in no particular order: Downton Abbey, Firefly, Arrested Development, Henderson the Rain King by Saul Bellow, The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway, Ecclesiastes by King Solomon, most Dave Barry columns, The Darjeeling Limited, Moonrise Kingdom, a wide array of indie and country tracks and an even wider variety of food tastes (if it is generally considered edible, I'll have some, thanks).
The six things I could never do without
are: humor, abstract thought, creative expression, an appreciation for whatever all this is (the world, our universe), good friends, and the intensity or drive to achieve dreams.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
people and what makes them tick. I love understanding what motivates each of us to do what we do. Why do certain people succeed and others fail?
On a typical Friday night I am
out with friends at a cafe or other drinking establishment, trying to solve the problems of the world and generally having a good time doing so.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that according to Myers-Briggs, I'm an ENTP looking for another EN-type.
You should message me if
you like walking in the rain. Or just walking. At all. Really. I love trekking across town in my boots: down side streets and up bike paths, nothing makes for great conversation like a good walk.
