Also, 5/5 rating as a passenger on Uber.
(I just noticed this is long as hell; no need to read the whole thing)
*in CO. Returning to LA on Friday
I have an orthopedic therapy practice, and am a strategic advisor for a start up. I'm transitioning away from medicine into other business pursuits and geopoliticking.
Love to travel when I have the chance (been to more countries than states).
Also, butchering your native language with an American accent. And artisan sandwiches.
Probably more like my mastery over the words your/you're and to/2/two/too. I can even use a semi-colon properly. Go college.
The salt and pepper is also coming in real nicely.
Books: Ones like 'The Alchemist', 'The 4-Hour Body', and 'The 5th Discipline' stand out. Really big into audiobooks right now (keep that sanity while in traffic). Currently reading 'Zero to One' by Peter Thiel and Blake Masters.
I can also cook. I make a mean stir-fry.
Usually global current events.
-I've eaten a tarantula...once.
-I was a nerd before the cool kids were doing it.
-I've been to 10 countries, so far.
-I'm a little bit of a gamer. I enjoy Xbox360 and computer games. It doesn't take up a lot of time, but its fun. I'm currently in the middle of a number of Indie games and League of Legends.
-My car has seat warmers. It's pretty great.
-I've been catfished a few times. It's about as fun as you'd think it is.
-I used to teach women's self defense for a few years; very good at getting beat up by women.
-I like to cuddle. I've come to terms with it.
-While in Mexico, I went on a 300ft swing suspended in the middle of an even larger canyon.
-I don't take selfies. **GIANT CONFESSION**
-I'm horrible at writing messages, but try anyway. Haha.
-I own an actual pyramid.
-I'm in a group of around 60 people (the vast majority I don't know). We're all tasked with sending 1 pizza to 6 different people over the next 6 months. It's kinda nice getting surprise pizza'd.
You're tired of boys and would prefer a man who knows when to be a gentleman; who can keep up with and handle a woman.
I'll still find you attractive if you're taller than me (don't need no insecurity). I also find ink on women attractive (I have some too), but it's far from required.
Reasons why I haven't messaged you yet, but had looked at your profile:
-I thought your profile was fake: It's also very possible I was just a dummy and didn't get your sense of humor. A huge fan of being proven wrong.
-You're not online: With the library of messages you're getting, I figured the best time to message you is when you're online, otherwise mine will probably get drowned out. If this isn't true, feel free to send the first one, haha.
-Not enough time to write a good message at the moment. Hey, first impressions are important.
-I'm uncertain we'll get off on the right foot, but I am flawed, so feel free to prove me wrong.
-Based on what you wrote/have in your photos, I'm at a total loss for words and have no idea what I should write to cut through the other BS in your inbox. We both know that 'hey whats up' got old for you within the first 100 inbox messages, haha.
