My self-summary
It doesn't matter if the glass is half full or half empty, there is clearly room for more wine!

I'm a sincere, honest, open-minded, non-judgemental guy with a dry, slightly sarcastic sense of humor. As someone who is fairly laid back, it's pretty difficult to offend me. I'm looking to add more drama free fun to my life. I like to be active and I have an adventurous side. Maybe not the jump from an airplane type, but white water rafting works. I recently started skiing & improve every time I get out. I love roller coasters, but can't handle the rides that spin. I enjoy weekend get-a-ways, NYC, the beach, O's road trip (Phillies too!)... pretty much anywhere. A summer evening at the stadium is a lot of fun. I love to travel and hope you do too. I enjoy dive bars with good food and a good band. I also like a good steak house or a night at the theater (Hippodrome or Broadway), concerts, movies, festivals... I'm pretty much up for anything. I workout, but it is more a means to an end. I need to workout if I want to be able to do the activities I like. I watch what I eat, but that doesn't mean I won't occasionally watch myself eat a cheeseburger and fries. Btw- I don't eat seafood.

I'd like to meet an attractive, intelligent woman who enjoys sports and has similar interests as me, but also has her own uniqueness. Intelligence means a lot and it doesn't necessarily come from a college education. A sense of humor is important too, including the ability to laugh at yourself. I'd also like you to be my best friend.
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying it!
I’m really good at
listening, holding hands, eating, driving (I'm a very good driver), traveling, kissing (or so I've been told), being a friend, being a father (maybe I should have put this first), making breakfast, vacationing, reffing football.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, I guess. You tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Usually read non-fiction. A lot of biographies.
Movies - Old School, Million Dollar Baby, Gran Torino, Cinderella Man, Fletch, Inglorious Bastards.
Shows - Modern Family, Big Bang Theory
Music - Alive and Wish List by Pearl Jam, my iPod is ecclectic - from Johnny Cash to Ray Charles, Nirvanna to Beyonce. (Not much for country despite liking Johnny Cash). Also like Florence and the Machine, Radio Head, Linkin' Park, Stones, Who...
Food - Steak, pizza & scotch, generally not all together.
The six things I could never do without
A good steak (sorry's taken thousands of years to get to the top of the food chain. I see no reason to let all of that evolution go to waste),
my friends,
the sound of my children's laughter,
contact lenses,
My whistle,
my cell phone.
Not necessarily in that order.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Winning powerball numbers for the next drawing.
On a typical Friday night I am
at happy hour with friends, maybe working out, other fun activities.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've been to a WWE event. Only once and I was in college. (It was the WWF back then.)
Wooo. It feels good to finally get that off my chest.
You should message me if
If you liked my profile, you think nacho chips and salsa are a meal not just an appetiser, you roll your toilet paper over the top, you truly appreciate spell chick - I mean check, you like your wings hot and your beer cold, you can spell ESPN without spell check and you sleep on the right side of the bed.
One more item, I'll accept messages from anyone, but I will only consider responding to those with a picture on their profile.
