My self-summary
I'm a scientist, and an audiophile. I've got a passion for music, science and technology. I work in the IT industry, and I'm an executive at a bio-hacker lab in Seattle. I'm nearly 4 years sober (no I don't judge, feel free to ask me about it). I'm honest and loyal, I'll be straightforward with you. I have a good life and I love who I am, and I'd like to meet you and share my experiences. let's go on an adventure! or just play video games.

26 y/o 6'2" 190lbs
What I’m doing with my life
Living life on life's terms. I graduated from The Evergreen State College with a bachelors degree of science in organic chemistry. Someday I'd like to take that experience and find work as a research chemist. I work Bellevue in the IT field, specifically cloud computing, and I serve as an administrator at a DIYbiology hackerspace in Seattle promoting citizen science, education and research.

I made this profile out of sheer curiosity. Every moment holds infinite possibilities, we fractals must coalesce.
I’m really good at
running, I love working out
video games & being a nerd (I'm an avid eSports enthusiast, I spend quite a bit of time watching professional counter strike and starcraft)
doing things with music (mixing, fiddling with midi keyboards, sequencers and producing for fun)
cards
photoediting/digital art
snowboarding (it's been a while!)
singing
writing
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a really deep, loud voice that carries far
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Let's go in order!

A few books I enjoy:

a new earth, the art of war, slaughterhouse v, catch-22, 2001, cryptonomicon, ender's game, thank you for smoking, 1984... as far as authors/writers go I like orson scott card, fyodor dostoevsky, arthur c clarke, issac asimov, patrick f mcmanus, stanley kubrick, carl sagan, george orwell, shakespeare, gary paulsen, henry david thoreau, but I WANT TO READ MORE! Suggest something!

Movies/TV...

I like horror, scifi, thriller and action movies.

Kevin Smith movies (y'know clerks and the like?), mulholland drive, fight club, the shawshank redemption, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, pulp fiction, saving private ryan, VHS, fear and loathing in las vegas, a scanner darkly, the boondock saints, reservoir dogs, trainspotting, the big lebowski, hot rod, fight club, the wall, forrest gump, donnie darko. That paints a picture, no?

TV Shows

I like ridiculousness. south park, tim & eric awesome show, sifl & olly, it's always sunny in philadelphia, adventure time, the boondocks, superjail!, samurai jack, kenny vs spenny, aqua teen hunger force, kitchen nightmares, TRAILER PARK BOYS... yeah.

Music.

I'm an audiophile. I own a 10,000 Watt PA system (with huge 18" cerwin vega subwoofers) and very expensive headphones. I've been doing nerdy shit with music since I was a little kid. My interests in musical genres is pretty expansive, and I'm really open minded about music. I tend to gravitate to hip hop, big beat, breaks, psybient, drum n bass, glitch/trip hop, and breakcore. I have a ridiculous music library (I collect digital music). I'd love to show you.

I like pretty much anything when it comes to music and I find a great deal of pleasure in going to shows, playing shows and experiencing the music scene. I'm an all-around kind of guy with a preference for european electronic music but I can easily get down to heavy metal, punk, bluegrass, classical, jazz, whatever. It's all good to me. I've played violin in an orchestra and playing piano (keys) is a hobby of mine.

Food? I eat everything. My favorite food is sushi, and favorite cultural cuisine is Thai.
Six things I could never do without
1. fuzzy things like little critters and stuffed animals and comforters and pillows
2. LOUD MUSIC
3. homies
4. memories - mental disease is my greatest fear
5. dreams
6. trolling
