My self-summary
Let me get the REALLY awkward part out of the way right here: I'm married. Not the "I'm in the process of getting divorced" kind, but the "me and my wife date other people and still really like each other" kind. Which isn't to say that there aren't a ton of other awkward things about me, but I'm gonna have to say the whole being married thing is #1 with a bullet. Unless it isn't. Which would be IDEAL.

I finally got a car, after 15 years without one. It makes me feel sort of guilty (carbon footprint, etc), but it's also really awesome. I can't remember the last time I drove to a girl's house and picked her up. I am really excited to do that. I'm also excited that I can drive to Trader Joe's.
What I’m doing with my life
If you are looking for a super goal oriented, ambitious guy, you've come to the wrong place. I make a living, and I have hobbies, but other than trying to make people happy (including myself) in a really vague and short term way, there isn't a master plan. I love games (video/board), sports (both playing and following...I LOVE to play tennis), and music above all. Karaoke is my current obsession but I play the guitar and write music too. If you want to start a band with me, I am totally in, especially if you're a drummer and have a practice space.
I’m really good at
Magic: The Gathering. I won $3000 at Pro Tour: New York in 1999 (edit: full disclosure: it was $2750, but sometimes I exaggerate to make myself look like a "big man"). O, those carefree, virginal days of yore!
The first things people usually notice about me
The height listed on my details section is not an exaggeration. I am ludicrously tall. So. That. That's what people notice. Over and over and over, people notice that. It's cool. It's not irritating or anything. Everyone, just keep noticing how fucking tall I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Recently read The Road, by Cormac McCarthy. I know people think it's depressing and everything, but I actually found it really inspiring and heart warming for some reason. People are basically good, I'm convinced of that. My favorite writer is William Gibson, if that means anything to you.

Movies: You Can Count on Me, Dark City, The Fugitive, The Good Girl, The 40 Year Old Virgin.

Shows: Six Feet Under, Deadwood, Game of Thrones, The Simpsons, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Seinfeld.

Music: Currently listening to Kanye, Queens of the Stoneage, Daft Punk, Bonnie Raitt, Three Loco/Riff Raff, And One (Laauura! Here comes the...oil!).
Six things I could never do without
Lightning Bolt, Boots of Speed, Guitar, cheese, fresh socks every day, kitties.
